Strike: variable equipment model Duel: layered armor assault model Buster: long range heavy support model Aegis: transformable attack model Blitz: "I AM THE DARKNESS!"
4:55 The beam saber isn't hard to take out, you just had it in backwards the the hole for the beam effect should be facing outward. It uses it like that.
Bandai will eventually release it unless they made an announcement that they will not. You will need to play with their waiting game. I mean that God Gundam HiRes is something I really didn't expect to come.
The reason the saber hilt is so difficult to remove is because you have it in backwards. It's supposed to be usable from the shield or removed for traditional handling.
Mecha REALLY wants us to forget his Aegis review, doesn't he? Also, that beam saber handle is attached wrong on the shield. The Blitz doesn't hold the beam saber by its hand. It remains on the shield and ignites it while on the shield. A lot of other reviews showed that it's stored correctly on their build.
Just wanna add something. 1. There's an upgraded variation of this called "Nebula Blitz", which is basically Blitz with red color, new system and added backpack from Amatsu Mina. Fun fact : This version of Blitz is mass produced and piloted by little girl clones, which is also a reference to Ple Two and her Qubeley Mk-II from ZZ gundam. The model kit of Nebula Blitz DOES exist but in 1/100 No Grade, basically High Grade in Master Grade scale. No, I never built one myself. 2. The right arm of Astray Gold Frame Amatsu does came from this mobile suit after it's destruction in the SEED series, but the weapon is modified. While this old version is called "Trikeros", the one used by Gold Frame Amatsu is called "Trikeros Kai" (Kai in japanese means modified), replacing some part of the shield with physical blade. Thus the "Mirage Stealth Colloid System" (the same system that enabled Blitz to be invisible physically and from radar), also applied in Gold Frame Amatsu.
Picked this up a few days ago and I've been working on giving it a glossy metallic paint job. Its been a nightmare so far but now its all coming together. I even managed to add an led that lights up the eyes and head cameras!
So MG Aegis review 2.0, when? Because that video needs to be done again. Preferably when you're in a good mood (since the first one sounded like someone just drop-kicked your dogs off a bridge).
Blitz- I'm the best edgy gundam Deathscythe Hell EW- Time for me to show this city slicker how it's done Master Gundam- that's tough talk coming from a bunch of rookies
Damn, this kit is really attractive. I think the black would look great with a little bit of silver dry brushing to bring out details. May have to try and get this for my first MG kit.
You should definitely try polishing bars! I just started trying working with them, and they’ve been really good! Especially with nub and mould line clean up. It’s surprisingly easy and simple. Not perfect, but with enough elbow grease, it can correct many of the texture differences.
Deathscythe was my childhood and i just bought the gundam universe deathscythe figure but now i see this guy(starts scratching neck like I'm addicted to crack) and i know if i buy him ill need to buy the other gundams from the seed series as well!!! thanks alot algorithm for showing me this!!!
You should review the RX-78-2 v 1.5 I feel like it doesn't get as much love or attention as either the 2.0 or 3.0 does, but I think it brought a lot to the MG kits that came after it.
I really want to get this kit, it looks great. The price went up on it a last year and I regret not getting it now... also MechaGuy do Aegis review ver.2.0!
Huh, this really only just reminded me that the G-Else from the Build Divers kits appears to take this Gundam as inspiration (just with the Self as a base, and that weird alien looking modified head. Those grapple weapons the Else comes with remind me of the claw/funnels the Blitz packs, and the colours are very much like the Blitz too.
Can we get a second look at the Aegis? Your other review of it was in 2012, just watched it, and I really think it could use some of your energy from your newer reviews in it ^^
1:10 you're actually right ironically this gundam the blitz specialty is speed an in infiltration since in the anime it can also cloak itself, and set it's missile's to a time bomb or remote control detonator. Similar to how haekeye's arrows work in marvel comics and movies.
I really love the Blitz Gundam it's my favorite Gundam design ever. I'm glad that its glory was shown as the Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina when it took Blitz's left arm. Also obligatory *NICOL WAS 15*
No, it's her twin brother, Gina (or Ghina) who salvaged the severed arm and modified it for Gold Frame. And to add VA joke, Ghina is voiced by same VA as Kamille Bidan, while Mina voiced by same VA as Reccoa Londe, both from Zeta Gundam series.
So is Nicol a boy or a girl?? also they use the arm of blitz because the other arm of gold frame was destroyed and also to enable mirage coloid (invisibility)
@@ChrisTian-sd5yq Basically, only the right arm of Blitz that is still "intact" because severed by Strike before exploded. Also Nicol was voiced by the same VA as Loran Cehack, so there's that.
Oh! Idea for which old kits to review in the future: the old 1991 Gundam F91 1/100 kits (especially the Heavygun bc lord knows that we'll never get a RE100 or HGUC)
I instantly felt the need to change my own MG Blitz's pose. And it lost a part. Twice. 100% agree with the review. Great design & color, but a tendency to shed more parts than a dog sheds hair. Still love it, though.
