💗 Praise the Lord Bishop Jakes. Although 20 years ago I thought I had given my mic to Christ only to find out that Jesus took it away from me just so that he could prepare me for the awesome Ministry and the things that he was about to do in my life it's a long story but I'm so thankful that the Holy Spirit had done exactly what he came to do and that was to bring me into all truth and understanding about God and who he was and how important it was for me to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to know him for myself who I am in him and understanding that he lives in me the hope of glory by seeking him following his voice meditate on his word and the hope of his calling predestined for me so that I could be his hands and feet mouthpiece his ears his love from his heart to give and be the blessing he's called me to be in the body of Christ. He began that good work in me years and years ago before I knew him the way that I know him now but even at those times things he called me to say and do I knew were coming from him because his word confirms everything that he does in my life in every moment in a twinkling of an eye this is how I know my God so I don't believe that I ever drop the mic it's just that I've always known to wait until he tells me to use it. There's a set time in a season and a turn for every believer no matter how old they are because God doesn't operate the same way the world does when it comes to age or race or anything else for that matter. I've learned how to trust God and that he knows what he's doing in the lives of the receivers of the word that he gives me to give or sing . I surrendered and ask God to be who he is in me. And when I did that was the greatest thing that ever happened in my life because my life now is his life he freely gave I freely receive everything he has for me is a gift and I don't take it for granted I love him so much he always shows himself strong on my behalf and shows me and tells me everyday that he loves me more. And to know that he loves me this way makes me want to protect him LOL but he doesn't need any protection he's too busy protecting me Hallelujah. And giving to me everything he's ever promised me in his way the things that he's always desired for me it's an awesome blessing there's no way I'm going to blow it because I know he's got my back. And what the world said I couldn't do God made all my dreams come true. All glory honor and praise belong to Jesus Christ my savior thank you Father God the holy spirit that dwells in me I'mma tell the whole world about him every chance I get because it's him that orders my steps and tells me where to go and what to say what to write and sing his word does not return unto him void Hallelujah. I may not know all of the people that God has bless in this world the people that have repented and given their lives to Christ. Jesus Christ lives in me the Temple of the Holy Ghost that dwells inside of me I might not meet them all until I get into eternity but I know this for sure that he touch someone so that I would be touched I believe that someone was my grandmother that taught me the Lord's Prayer and the 23rd psalm when I was just a child of about 5 years old. We used to share a bedroom together and I would listen to her pray and read her Bible all night long she must have read her Bible over a hundred times she touch me and that someone inside of her was Jesus Christ his holy spirit the comforter that Comforts us that believe and receive... All glory praise and honor be to God for the awesome things that he our Sovereign God has done. God bless you today Bishop Jake's and the family of God

Bishop talks about how comedians and preachers are similar and I just had the revelation a month and a half ago. There are so many similarities with in the two. Points or punch lines, story telling, crowd analyzation, preparation and notes. But now a days, they may be too similar, always looking for a ‘gig’, looking for money, more of a comedian the a communicator. I’ll leave that alone, I’m just glad that there is a book on communication, which is something that I actively try to get better at.

As a emerging preacher and a communicator in other sectors, this a the best Communications Course I had the privilege of attending and it came from men of Faith. 20 years ago, without broadcasting education one of my Pastors said to me, Gail, you are going to assist Apostle with the radio ministry. Didn't know anything about radio, but I said yes. Today, people ask if I'm a trained broadcaster. I'll be ordering my copy of the book Bishop, and rewatching this.
