Have you seen messages telling about a cool job opportunity? Did it sound too good to be true? This is the Task App scam and in this video I'll tell you how it works and how to avoid it!
If everyone is organised enough with fake IDs, unique email addresses, wallet addresses etc, you could potentially farm these scammers for their $50. Might be worth a try? Nice move for reporting their website.... always great to disrupt these criminals.
Omg the most vile language that I have ever seen before 🤦🏽♀️they always use the same insults about your mom and they are your father 🙄great job Ben for making $58 off scammers lol ❤
Oh my goodness. As someone who can speak Chinese, I had to pause the video @7:13 to "appreciate" their originality in making insults. The level of profanity is far beyond any cursing phrases that I know. Good job exposing their scams!

no lie, opening inspect element to look at a website's code to check what language it was coded in is something i never considered and i am totally going to take advantage of moving forward when i approach a sketchy website. thank you for showing us the tools of the trade!

@BadgerFiresFoam They're all stupid bots. If you take a look on most of the comments in this video there will be a bot copy pasting the original comment. I don't know what they earn from this but its annoying.
The money is from victims that have already "invested" their money on these fake websites. You are taking money from real victims! Please don't do that. Just report these scams directly.
@@marco31 Well you could take the money from first task and then donate it to charities and report them doing so would make scammers lose money and the money from real victims would go to a good cause
I have a personal vendetta against this type of scam. They scammed someone close to me and took a good chunk of his money. I've dealt with a few of them, and by playing dumb managed to get 50$ out of them twice. Really nasty people 😡
It always cracks me up how they resort to junior high school level insults. And it takes so little to get them that triggered too as evidenced in this video.

@@Nagol93 Not necessarily. Plenty of scammers with college degrees out there. Just look at Wall Street. They are just more polished scammers. It ultimately comes down to character and a person's moral compass.
As a Chinese audience of your RU-vid channel who lived in US, I get lots of scam call in Chinese everyday, good to see you reveal some Chinese scam finally, good content, thank you!
OH WOW I got the same similar thing from this morning when my job at dollar tree was shutting down SMH. I had to click on this video & see what it’s about, THANK YOU MR. GREEN! KEEP IT UP! ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Happy to see you on Kitboga's stream earlier! You were a natural! Hopefully that will help drive more people here. With all you guys and gals informing the public about different scams, hopefully it will make a big dent in the amount of people that get scammed yearly!
As an autistic person I’ve always found your videos and that of other scambaiters both educating and enlightening. So much so that if I get a number I don’t recognise call me I never answer and instead look up the number on search engines. Today I had such a scammer try and call me, which I didn’t answer but after researching the number found out it was fraudulent. I’m in the UK btw, love your videos.
So what you're saying is we should all go contact these people, get the first payout, and then bounce on them and drain them dry while simultaneously reporting the websites and getting them taken down.

Moral of the story is, if it's too good to be true then it probably is, I mean if getting paid hundreds a day was as easy as clicking a few buttons nobody would be going to real jobs everyday or be in school.
@BoskiM the first account they had me sign up with, that they wanted the info for. I had changed that info also after i sent it to them, so they couldn't get the funds I "earned", and then the "training" account they had me sign into, that one had the 2400 in, I managed to change the login and the withdraw password. But I didn't care enough to figure out what I needed to withdrawl their funds
This was almost me . I got an email from my school email and almost deposited a fake check into my bank but thanks to watching your videos I took the information I learned from you and decided not to do it and come to find out it was a scam . Thank u pleasant green !
I wonder if it would be possible to find enough of these Task Scams ( do just one stage of it, take out the money as soon as possible, quit while you are ahead then rinse and repeat with another one ) to make a decent living.
Scamming a scammer! Well played. Whenever a new scam shows up, you always find a way to beat them at their own game. I love that. Out of curiosity, I put the text at 10:37 through Google Translate and now I wish I didn't. What the scammer said to you is so evil and freakish that one can only hope she ends up going to hell for it...
Thank you Pleasant Green for helping us all stay safe on the internet. I was terribly close to losing money in a few scams but luckily I stepped back, watched a few of your videos, and realized that if I provided the scammers with the information they requested, I'd have been scammed big time. Pleasant Green, you're a true hero ❤.
I think this is the first time I've seen you make money out of a scam, You usually allow yourself to get scammed voluntarily for the sake of saving other people, But I guess you deserve a treat once in a while for your efforts.
Pig butchering is normally when a pretty girl/good looking guy contacts you by text pretend they got a wrong number. Then they get friendly and a couple of weeks later they're asking you to invest in bitcoin. Initial profits are paid to encourage you to invest more .. and more .. and more .. until you reach the point you want to withdraw and they put obstacles in your way by charging release fees that are far too high and you never get your money back.
I have a video of this exact scam on my channel. It is legitimately comical with how nonsense the task websites are. It makes me feel very bad for the victims that may not be tech-savvy enough to recognize that it doesn't make sense. Great work getting the word out!
Is it Ben or Mark? I have just discovered your channel! here within just this last week! Awesome content! You are the best human being with how you have treated people! Congrats! on your success! Miriam from Texas here:D
Somehow these scammers reached out to Czechia. I knew it was a scam because out of nowhere someone was offering me a job for a lot of money and just an our a day, That was enough red flag for me. Thank you for showing how the scam works!
My 15 y.o. daughter was tricked into being a money mule recently. You know how it works. Long story short, it cost me/her 400 USD for PP. Still working at clearing it. Part of her "education" is watching many of your videos on scams, spoofs, phishing, etc. Hopefully, this will help prevent her ftom falling for future scams. Thank you for all the work you do.
What really infuriates me is how many of these "job offers" are on legitimate recruitment sites. They don't do anything about it. You can't even report them half the time. I need a remote job right now, and I'm spending hours sifting through endless postings about earning money on apps and gaming and filling in surveys. Practically a job in itself. Nonsense, the lot of them.
I have read comments from victims who fell for this .. even borrowing money so they could keep "investing" because they believed they could withdraw at any time. No need to ask why they were posting in SP's comments 🤦 Thank you for the very clear explanation. I'll be sure to send viewers here to see it.
I have seen these advertised on Facebook and wondered what they were. I felt that making money simply by clicking on videos or products was way too easy, so I never signed up for them. I am thankful that you take these risks for us.
Was able to do one of these WITHOUT surrendering any personal details and managed to snatch $60 from these scammers. I got another one recently and was thinking of trying the same thing, but decided it's best to not bother.
A big concern with these types of scams is if they’re willing to shell $50 USD as a bait, they must be making tens of thousands of dollars, if not more. Sadly, the money you got very likely came from a victim who didn’t know this was a scam to begin with. Would’ve been nice to see this money go to a good cause knowing it came from crime and manipulation.
*Amazing video, you work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K into trading from just few months ago and now they are multimillionaires*
Hello , I am very interested. As you know, there are tons of investments out there and without solid knowledge, I can't decide what is best. Can you explain further how you invest and earn?
Same, I operate a wide- range of Investments with help from My Financial Adviser. My advice is to get a professional who will help you, plan and enhance your management skills. For the record, working with Maria Frances Hanlon, has been an amazing experience.
I'm favoured, $290K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America,, all thanks to Ms Maria Frances 😊🎉
I keep getting ads on RU-vid claiming I could earn $24,500 a day. Nice to see RU-vid doing its part to prevent scams and only promoting ‘totally legit’ get rich quick schemes. Seriously though, the scary part is that this scam must work, else it’d stop.
Thanks Ben I tried this scam too but I was so confused throughout the whole time I knew I never be an Ble to explain like you did , Watched you and Kit have fun on his stream thank for the entertainment!,
These scams are becoming more sophisticated every day. I honestly can't believe people get entangled in these things. It always seems the scammers are several steps ahead.
Seems like a lot of mundane work to do but I guess if you’re desperate for money you can get sucked into this. Enjoyed your collaboration with Kitboga today, Ben!
I fell for it until they asked me to invest money into it. I noped out. They said that I would be sued if I didn't complete the tasks. It's been a year now, still waiting for the lawsuit.
I really like your channel, Pleasant Green. It is hands down the most insteresting of all scambaiter channels. You're showing different methods from differents scammers from different countries, and not only India which is the main target of scambaiters. Thank you very for your work, which is the most instructive of all. Keep it up!
My mom send me a test at 11pm the day before you uploaded this asking if I knew what ethereum or whatever was and I just called her cuz what she doin with bitcoin. She described the second scam to me. Luckily she said she hung up after they started saying she needed to put money in to make money. But I literally joked and was like if pleasant green a scam baiter uploads I'll send it to you. and you uploaded the next day.
