The games being overlooked had a lot more to do with it than Rise of the Dark Spark. Because ya know, they're actually better than mediocre quality, so of course they were overlooked.

@@marcorizo1387 It has the best non-gun combat of any "Transformers" video game, and an entertaining story to boot. It leaves a lot to be desired for what I want out of a "Transformers" video game, which is something I can say for all "Transformers" video games, but it's a must-play for any die-hard "Transformers" fan, which is also true for "Transformers: War For Cybertron" and its sequel, "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron".

Just seeing the video in my feed made me look up the theme. Karl was right, they had no right to go that hard on the theme. I love it.

Sideswipe and Bumblebee are the best in the game, their combo cancel mechanics make this game super easy tho, but I love it. You can do so many infinites with them also

Imo, the parry move is kinda... pointless. I do more damage by dodging and attacking during focus.

@@JayPlusForerunner K so I have about 10 more hours of play time since my original reply and I discovered that the parry does have ONE minor use: When you're fighting against a melee enemy that hits multiple times (ie; Elite Seeker), you can parry to stop them from combo-ing you to death. Although I rarely ever get caught in situations like this.

They had good stories and voice acting, but i could never get past the Bay inspired character designs

@@whodatninja439 i personally think they look fantastic. The characters designs are a nice blend between the G1 design and the 3d nature of the game. And the transforming animations are second to none. Also I personally don't see the visual connection to Bay's Transformer design.

Someone uploaded a video about 10 XBOX 360 games that he feels should be sought out for a persons library and Transformers: Devastation was one of them. I have a document in which I (try) to keep track of all video game purchases, but when I looked through my list, Devastation was nowhere to be found. I knew I had it so I searched through my collection of games starting with the PS4 and there is was, the PS4 version. I clearly remember after finding it that I got the very last (gutted) copy several months after the game launched. Even then, the game was difficult to find, especially a new copy. I say that to say that I hope you find away to play it or a physical copy if that is what you are looking for. License games are always tricky, because there is a high probability that the rights of the game switches hands which could mean bad news for a reprint after being on the market for a few years, a remake, or rerelease. Lesson learned for me is to add all remaining games I own to my documents so that there is no question whether I own a physical copy should I need to know without having to search through my collection.

Agreed. Instead of having the other 4 bots suddenly disappear even though the previous cut scene had them all together, why not let other people jump in to play as them?

Activision lost the Transformers game rights in 2017, so the games Activision published/produced are effectively dead until Hasbro decides to do something with them.
