Nice video. I have had the camera for a year now and ordered a second one that will ship in a week or two. I drive 30 miles each way to and from work and currently pays me 1000-1800 honey per week for me putting in no extra effort. Great project to say the least. I’m in the Ottawa area. Your location has weight as well, bigger cities are weighted more than say the country side. In a year of driving I earned 53000 honey to date with just one camera. So yeah for me this was like getting into helium in 2020. One thing to keep in mind. They use AI to sort images so you need to make sure your camera is mounted correctly, if it rains images with windshield wipers will get rejected and of course you can only map during daylight hours and in the winter … that sucks. lol.
@@dronetheworld4k67some claim it can. Some claim it doesn’t work. I guess it depends on the exact power output of the port it is plugged in. It is however not recommended by the manufacturer I am sure.
@@DoItJustinKaceI’m in Ottawa but moving to Vancouver this year so we will see how things will change. There is a lot of unmapped road in Ottawa especially in the country where I live. Either way I have gotten great returns from this project as well as a few others like Dimo and Geodnet both of which in highly recommend people try.
Was already thinking about getting one of these. I didn’t know that the 2500 bonus was also available for the base model, I thought it was only available for the S model, so thanks for that info! It’s a no brainer at that point. Just ordered through your link!
Amazing video very informative . I was wanting one of these for quit some time , but with the 2500 honey rebate incentive I’m going to get either 2 or 4 for me and my fiancé . This is going to be game changing . You got a sub from me my man
if the price of the token stays around its current price of $.11, then if you order your dash cam before the new year and received the air drop offer given that you drive, the necessary mileage, essentially that your cameras would be free anything else you earn after that is all extra. This could be a good opportunity who knows where the price will be a year from now the longer you wait the longer it takes.
I have the regular Hivemapper canera (not the S), what color are the 3 vertical lights supposed to be on the left? Because mine all stay blue. But Im not sure if thats right. I just set it up yesterday so want to make sure it is set up right. Thanks!
If I mount more hivemappers cams in more people cars is there an option that I collect the rewards in my wallet and they dont know how much is worth of
Looks interesting. I was curious how this one actually works. I don't drive much for work anymore so it's not for me but i can see the appeal. Good job going over everything. 👍
No its a ponzi scheme. All the money comes from people buying into to project through overprices dashcams. They artificially increase shipping times in order to keep the project afloat a little longer. Dont invest in this
Your decision. I actually think it’s still a pretty good deal even with 2000 honey bonus. The bigger issue is that it will take forever before they arrive.
Goodluck getting the camera by March 2024. Just a couple of months ago it was Jan 2024. Their release of the original camera was almost a year behind schedule. I'd put money on this release being delayed until at least July 2024. Lucky they allow refunds, so if the honey token continues on its current trajectory back to $0.01, you should be able to cancel your order.
@@DoItJustinKace going by their history, the release date is actually when the first batch of 10 or so prototypes are delivered to hivemapper employees. After a month they get another small batch of units and send them to community testers. Then after finding all the bugs they start delivering small batches to paying customers for a few months while they deal with more hardware and software problems. Then 4 - 6 months after the first delivery they start ramping up to dispatching 50-100 units a week. Basically they use paying customers to do all their product testing for them. That's their way of getting the hivemapper community involved - use them as guinea pigs instead of doing proper in-house product development and testing.
Hey Justin, thanks for sharing, saw your video and decided to get one with your code, but have a few questions for you. 1. Do I need to purchase a flashdrive for the memory? 2. Should/how do I upload the date? Or does it upload by itself?
A few youtubers also promote the hivemapper and will give 10% discount but non of those speaks about the form to get 2500 honey. Where did you get this form from?
Thanks for the video! Just ordered one with your link. Are you planning on making any Helium videos? I'm sitting on 5 miners I haven't deployed yet. Is it even worth it anymore?
Hi Justin, very good video, I just ordered mine earlier this week here in the UK. Just to check, does the person using the device have to have all the apps and download images etc or I can do it remotely for them?
@HODLjustinkace for sure will do. If I give to an uber driver I know just be easier if they don't have to get involved with the more technical side of things. Thanks for your reply.
If you become a fleet owner then the person you have do it for you it will split it 50/50 . I’m a fleet owner and I do that. Truck drivers have made me a lot of money .
Ordered using your code. Has an April target. Saw some in other videos claiming they have made over $1/mile. What kind of money is realistic? I imagine it depends on how well the coin does too.
@@DoItJustinKacesaw a youtube where someone said it came out to $1/mile but think he was factoring in the coin appreciation. what kind of rates have you seen?
You fill the form out once you activate the mapper you will have to put the name of it on that form with purchase order number etc. Then drive 156 miles and then after you do that it will take average of 4 weeks to get the honey put in your wallet
@@DoItJustinKace I see it definitely going down with all the air drop bonuses and new batches being delivered. Do you know if the payouts are tied to USD amount or set coin amount? So say if the price of HONEY is down you'll get paid out in more tokens?
I cancelled all my hivemappers there a joke literally worse then bibcat miner the wait game anywhere 6-9months and dont upgrade they say you hold your place but push you out aanother 3 months. I love my beother justin but the peojwct tabked like bobcat
I find it very hard to believe that all coin will make it anywhere. Past 0. the cell pressure on that token will be immense due to everyone cashing in weekly. I don't see any burn tokenomic or any plan for them to make the token be held long term. It's a dump token. Definitely don't buy any!!
Even if you think that right now the match checks out on a pretty quick and easy roi. After that it’s all free coins / money . Ill definitely be giving this a try
Helium was exactly the same it went 54 dollars these people have obviously see a bull run lol the the buy pressure will out way the sell pressure do some research and learn about it
You do know they are getting customers that are buying mapping right? The trucking company I’m leased to is one of many customers they have. It’s better then google and a hell of a lot cheaper then google charges
