I had the coolest girlfriend when this song came out who wanted to listen to it a lot. I didn't mind because of all of The Pretenders' great songs I think this is one of the best.

Thanks so much Chrissie: I was mourning the eighties and I felt so old, one who says "In my good old days things were different, blah blah": listening to your marvellous voice I realize the 80' s were REALLY better, by far.
I have to say it, sorry the 70' s were the best, the beatles were just leaving the path open and followed by lennon, harrison, mac'artney, the stones, tull, zep, floyd, yes rush, heart, sabbath, purple, supertramp, elp, genesis, aerosmith, leppard and so many others, of course the pretenders with chrissie too, still the 70's and most of them went onto the 80's but, most of them were born in the 70's, some even in the 60's, like the beatles that starter all. the 80's were still good though... cheers!

I love how Chrissie hasn't farmed out the guitar playing for live performances of this great song. She is simply a treasure, the write/play/sing talents are dwindling very rapidly.
