That is so much money to throw at a problem. I feel the same with my fixes. I have a couple good places I've worked with, but I've never had anything needing fixed, just regular maintenance so I'm not sure what that would cost. I think it will be more fun to work on it myself then have it wait at a shop.
I hear you brother, sorry this happened to you! Thats alot of maintenance money. S10 is a great bike. Dealerships are my last resort too, they are there to make $$. Best is to find some local motorcycle mechanics instead of dealerships for major work and DIY by RU-vid videos for simple stuff if you feel confident! ❤
@binoptions7836 thank you. I've called some local mechanics, and the only thing they want it's a harley or dirt bike. I'm getting ready to set up my garage to do everything by myself. RU-vid, it's full of step by step videos, and to get some books or to ask in groups how it's done. I love motorcycles, and I don't want to give up on them because of the dealerships .
