'How to anchor self in the pure observing?' You only need to recognize that the Awareness itself is what is the fundamental source. It is the source itself.
It takes a little bit of practice in the beginning, but in a short time it becomes very natural for you, as soon as it is clear for you that you are Awareness and not someone trying to be Awareness.
Your own Self is the only thing really worth discovering. That will not fade. Everything that you see, experience and have owned, Time says: 'All this belongs to me.'
The only thing time will not swallow is pure Awareness. From the standpoint of Awareness, time is only a passing cloud.
