Everything about this is brilliant. I know there are many that wish for you to leave the show in this style since it both blends the two character styles rather well and is a warm recapture of 80s to 90s anime with watercolor backgrounds and simple yet effective designs. I do understand that you probably enjoy the more stark juxtaposition of the senpai characters in the modern style since the joke works better there, but I'm sure I'll be pining for this video's style when that happens. In any case, I look forward to where ever you take this show next. Thank you for all the hard work!

The first time, this just seemed kind of interesting. The second time, I was thinking 'hey, this is kind of catchy'. The third time, I watched it without the video as a progressively turned the volume up louder and louder. The fourth time, I danced around the room with my dog to this song. The fifth time, I was in tears as I listened to this gloriously corny pop song beam me through the past. This video and it's accompanying song are genius. I love the anime, and I love this. I love that an anime that basically started by making fun of every anime trope of the senpai/kohai subplots actually features a genuine puppy love between the two main characters. The senpai is not a jerk, the kohai isn't super annoying and they simply want to survive highschool and their classmates/clubmates' dissaproval. And if the distant future special is counted as canon, they succeed ❤️. Really what a cute story.

Even though this show was and still is essentially a parody, I find it really grew into an awesome world full of lovable characters. It goes to show how talented you are at creating fun characters, because no matter how short the episodes are I still feel like I know them all well. ;) I'll always look forward to another Senpai Club episode, regardless of how long it takes. =)

“Never change, just stay my senpai.” I feel my heart break every time I hear that line. I never fell in love during school but it reminds me of all the older friends. In my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years in high school I mainly had older friends. One of them was a guy I met when I was in middle school and was one of the few familiar faces I had in an otherwise scary new place. I owe him a lot because before I met him and discovered anime my world was gray and I think I was even depressed. Between him, art club and my discovery of anime it brought the color back. This reminds me of all the fun things we used to do and all the times I’d laugh like crazy with them but also the feeling of melancholy when I'd remember that they are older than me and I'd lose them. However by my senior year I joined the school’s theater club and made friends that way. I also still had a good friend of mine from middle school but as much as I loved them they never took the place of my older friends. Especially the one that I was friends with in middle school.

I'm so sad I found this series this morning and watched it all immediately. I love it. The bad humor, the amazing look of it, the exaggerated voices. Brilliant. I hope you continue to make content!

I loved this so much. I found this song on my "Momotaro by WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA" radio station, and thought, "What old anime is this a theme song for?". Then I looked it up and discovered that it was a new song which sounded like an old anime opening, and then I was even happier to discover that it had a classic anime-style music video that was so char-ming
