don't hate fate. 

Interesting perspective, not shitting on it but I disagree with the existence of fate. I also don't consider believing in it to be optimistic or pessimistic. If you believe in fate, it stops people from holding themselves accountable and removes the need to put effort into anything. Looking at the job example: if you didn't get the job, I agree with sucking it up but you also need to examine yourself and ask yourself why you didn't get the job. Did you prepare for the interview? Were you qualified for the job? Overall, did you do your best? If the answers to any of these were to be no, then chalking up the loss to fate could potentially stop you from improving yourself. And, if fate can be changed, then there is no point in this definition of fate because the whole point of fate is that certain events are destined and cannot be changed. Amazing video but just my thoughts on the subject!!!
