Fun fact:- Shinji is actually pretty strong physically, the reason why Tohji and Kensuke started calling Shinji "big buy" was actually explained in a game cut-seen where Tohji tells Kensuke how Shinji was a lot stronger than he expected and that he was barely able take that punch.
Most people forget he held a whole ass person airborn with his arms fully extended. For those who don’t get how impressive that feat is find a 45 pound plate and hold it in front of you with your arms fully extended out for about 20 seconds. shinji did about triple that weight when he was holding Asuka.
@@Big_show_guy if it's the part where he strangles Asuka, you forgot to add the fact that he held her by the neck, which, if I'm not wrong, would be one of the hardest places to hold someone by.
Spoiler warning because some dude wanted it Dude. I just realized that this is fucking beautiful (but also tragic) foreshadowing shown in the funniest way possible. Shinji literally CANNOT hold back because he’s being controlled in the EVA by Gendo when he’s fighting the infected EVA with Toji inside it, as supposed to when he is TOLD by Toji himself “Don’t hold back”. You managed to show the juxtaposition with “cannot” vs “will not” in this 11 second shitpost. Respect.
Seriously. I've seen both. Netflix all day, as much as I hate Netflix as a company. Kaji, Toji, Asuka, and Misato received major upgrades in their voices. Even side characters like the Naval commander voices matched their faces more appropriately. ADV ain't bad, but I think most fans have clouded judgement from nostalgia. Its all a matter of preference at the end of the day, but I strongly think the Netflix VA's match their character faces and personalities much nicer.
You argue about which English dub is better. I watched the German dub to learn some German. We are not the same ( I am implying that I am a better Person than all of you🗿)
I still don't get why is such a big deal that he killed eva 4. I get that pilots are sinced to feel their Eva's pain, but it's just pain. He shouldn't actually be sustaining any injuries, right? I mean, I get the feeling that's what they're implying, but it makes no sense. If the pilot's body hasn't actually been struck, how would they sustain injuries? Maybe nerve damage is feasible, but that's it. An eva bleeding, or breaking a bone could not cause the pilot to bleed or break a bone.

Asuka scene U know what scene i mean right? it show that her arm is rip off in the middle and it is physical damage on her body ,i dont really know what should i belive now lol but if we talking about the rebuild of eva version Yeah i think its just feeling pain as the eva body
