That is the best wizard response. However it also means that the DM basically second-guess the players actions. But that's me always over-thinking things. Lol Besides we all know that even if you ask them any form of "are you sure?" they're going to do it anyway, as well they should!
@@aerfwefd7334 it was full of a shitload of bad guys in the engine room of this airship, and they had thrown firebombs at the party, so when the DM informed me of red barrels in the midst of the group I thought “hey, I’ve played video games. Red barrel and a teeming horde, clearly I’m supposed to shoot these” They were bombs planted to down the airship.
"Who made that man a gunner?" "I did sir! He's my cousin!" "Who is that man?" "He's an asshole sir." "I know that, what's his name?" "That is his name, sir. Major Asshole."
Is it weird to imagine the Chorf engineers and enslaved Ogres on that Dreadquake enjoying a genuine moment of friendship, all laughing together at the blunderbusses getting splattered?
Queen Bess has taught me this lesson one too many times... i'm kinda looking forward to seeing if "spawn a unit in the enemy lines to see if fire at will is on" becomes a tactic
This was the soundscape that was missing from all those multiplayer videos from other TW:WH content creators when they took turns beating up Okoii with new Chaos Dwarves lol
The Dawi-zhar are still Dawi, in that they’re spiteful little buggers, even against their own. One of the soldiers there probably short the mortar crew a laborer or two.
Keep in mind that giving a melee attack order will make any ranged/hybrid unit start shooting at the nearest enemy, even if fire at will is toggled off. No flank charging tied down infantry with artillery trains if you want your infantry to live.
I had the same in campaign battle, dwarf helicopters parked over my line and 3 mortars shot at them and perfectly annihilated my regiment of ironsworn underneath the helis 100% to zero, everyone dead. Like why they even shoot mortars at frigging helis. It's still the best artillery in game 100% would reccomend. Ironsworn would probably not but they are dead.
ive lost many a fights to my dreadquakes firing at my high tier units because 3 skavenslaves were right there. Good trade that, 50 immortals for 3 skavenslaves, good trade
How much control does one have over the twin cannons/the mortar whilst moving? Non at all? Cuz I can't see myself leaving the targeting up to the AI while I chariot around the place.
