This is one of the most emotive, unforgettable songs, by the enormously talented Nolan Sisters. Lovely Maureen has the voice of an angel. Her vocal range is soo powerful and the girls' backing harmonies are pitch perfect. The lyrics are raw and melancholy. Only the Nolan Sisters can sing it with such depth and soul. They're still one of my favourite female groups and were always very underrated. RIP beautiful Bernie.💖🌹

They are a group of sisters from Ireland who started performing in the early 70's. The line up changed a few times during the years but always featured at least 4 sisters. Sadly lead vocalist Bernie died in 2013.
