I don’t know why they are laughing I’ve seen bed bugs destroy peoples lives financially.

Agreed! Very insensitive. Bed bugs are no laughing matter, dealing with the mental torture of not being able to have a comfortable nights sleep. People spend thousands not hundreds to get rid of them. The call out charges for pest control will be even higher now.

Agree. If you've actually ever had bedbugs you wouldn't be laughing. The financial cost & mental health affects can be massive. I got them a few years ago & stopped sleeping & eventually was asked to leave my accommodation. I had to pay for professionals to go in and remove them.

@@josephinedonnelley4762I met a young man last year whose life seemed to have been ruined by them: After his difficult and expensive experience, he had ptsd and his life was dominated by fear of them.

In German airports they have sniffer dogs trained to sniff out the bugs in people's luggage! I saw a documentary about it on RU-vid the other day..

I am disgusted by all the laughter when they are discussing a serious subject. It reminded me why I never tune into the morning shows.

Same on this morning today, Dermot and Allison were laughing all through and so much I couldn't hear what the woman was saying about them, they wouldn't be laughing if they had them in their house.😮

Saw on you tube, travel with metal type suitcase as they get into fabrics. When you arrive at hetel or home etc. take your case straight into the Bathroom and keep it there as no carpets beds or soft furniture for them to get into. Check everything as you take it out of case before going out of bathroom. Sounds sensible.

Our local library had a bedbug infestation a few years ago. The bugs were in books, DVDs and CDs----and the bugs ended up all over the library and in borrowers' homes. Students and adults stopped coming to the library to read the papers and periodicals, and finally when the staff was getting bites every day the town decided to close the library for a total fumigation. That was easier said than done because as soon as the "cleansed" library reopened, within two weeks more bedbugs were on the move, biting patrons and library workers. The problem has never been resolved. Once bedbugs move in, it's next to impossible to completely eradicate them.

Can you tell me the name of that library so I stay away lol, or just tell me it's not in or near London lol
@sensimania
@sensimania 11 месяцев назад
The re-infestation probably came from the people returning the books after the library reopened

I had a small bed bug problem a couple of months ago. It took all new bedding, duvets and a knew bed base along with 6 bug bombs to get rid of them. I couldn't replace the mattress as it is £800 of memory foam. Not a pleasant experience!

Bed bugs have always been everywhere i had bedbugs in 2010 in london then from 2013 2014 and also in 2018 in various borough's of london they have always been here but the only solution to them is first spray heavily for one month then another 3 months after then again 6months time again and also during all these times number one priority should be to clean your house or room daily more regularly and thats the only way to get rid of them.
@EvidentlyFire
@EvidentlyFire Год назад
The thing is some ppl never know they have them unless they actually see them because most ppls skins don't react to bites, also if you keep getting bit you can get used to it and then your skin stops reacting too. I'm in London too. They all over the city

I had bed bugs in the past (6y ago) and it is not fun experience but in the same time - I think - all the education is a good thing. It is much easier / cheaper to eradicate them if you at least aware of them and can check your mattress for anything unusual. From other perspective, I went to the bed bugs subreddit to see what is happening in there with all the news from Paris. I had a look at the pics that people where uploading - like 90% of those bugs are not bed bugs at all so there is element of panic (some people see a random bug at their home or in public and report bed bug infestation).
