Thanks Jim for all your amazing content. One question, for a Real-Estate business if I want an anonymous llc protection in various states for each rental, with then a parent LLC in Wyoming seems like a good option. The fees are super low and are tax write off so its a wash and your totally protected, right? What problems did your client experience regarding his Wyonming business? Thank you again for your time.

Thank you for posting. Say you decide not to get a registered agent when you first form your LLC, are you able to change your mind and add in the future? Same question in regards to business address. In general, are you able to edit your LLC? I appreciate the info, thanks again!

Wonderful video Jim! @15:25ish in your video, you mention about how to reference the contract, what if it is supposed to be a multi-LLC? How is it it supposed to read? Are both names listed?

If we should not use the registered agent address as the business address, is there a way to get some anonymity (privacy/shielding from scammers), as well as someone being present during normal business hours to receive packages? Thank you for your time and information.

For online business, im based in one state, but shipping facilities that I used are based in another. Is there anything I need to do? Register anything with each state? Form an LLC for each state where product ships from?

I registered my LLC in Texas and Georgia, however, I am opening a store in Texas but found an operating store (in another state) with my exact LLC name (yikes). This means I now have to figure out a different store name which is disappointing. I figure it's not worth fighting for a store name already being used since an LLC does not have to match the name of your business, right? All this stuff is so new to me and overwhelming, any recommendations?

Hello Jim, I am happy I found your channel, however, I hope I am not too late, you see I went ahead and used my state, Colorado, website and formed my LLC. I did not start a sole ownership I just went ahead and established an LLC because I thought that was the best first step in starting my online biz which would be for importing and exporting, mainly from Peru, I have my sister in Peru and she has her company there and due to the free treaty marker between these two countries we want to take advantage of this. Sir, if it is too late for me, I have not done nothing else yet.

Can I appoint myself as a Responsible Managing Employee on my operating agreement or do I need to amend my articles of organization to make it official? Im going after a C-33 Painting and Decorating License here in Hawaii and they require a RME. Im a sole owner, single member LLC. Thanks to anyone who answers this. Much appreciated.

Unless your registered agent offers virtual address, like Northwest, then they will definitely drop you for using their address on your articles of association.

Hi Jim thank you for the video. I got my personal lawyer to set up an LLC for me since I wanted to open a small cafe/ home catering company. He did and I’m asking him what comes next and they are no help since this area is not their specialty. I’m a single member LLC I just got it 3 weeks ago I’m doing the operation agreement now. What license or permit do I need to apply for in NY

you can do a quick search of your city/county/state to see what licenses you may need. As a home catering company, you need to be very careful. I'm not sure you are even legally allowed to do that if you don't have access to a commercial kitchen. I would find another lawyer in NY.

I live in Sydney, Australia and own a Pty Ltd Company in Australia since 2004, doing Consulting. I wish to work from Delaware, USA for family reasons. I would like to create a Single Member LLC in Delaware so that I can work from the there. The E3 Visa requires that my company has a presence in the USA for me to be working there. While I am there, I will develop my business in Delaware. Can you help me ? Provide some advice or comments please ?
