Don't apologize, keep doing what your doing. The info helps. Thanks You are right though, you either get the 45%er or 55%er crying for you to yolo the bush line. The 45% bad player doesn't get the game and the 55% plus player only cares that you light them for him as an individual regardless of weather or not you die.
@@speedmanxx Thanks, I try my best to please the most amount of viewers. I present my content how I would’ve liked it to be presented to me when I was a noob. Sometimes really good players don’t explain enough about the mechanics and little things that they do.
Nice job Whirls, I found your videos like only few months ago and I really appreciate what are doing. I play mostly light tanks and your advises are really helpful. It happens to wait for the map with a days playing light and being killed in the beginning of the game is extremely disappointing. So, analyzing mistakes, is immensely useful at least for me. I can see how much I advanced since I started to watch videos like this. Thanks and keep going!
@@ddrr1335 very glad to hear that the videos are helpful for you. I try my best to give detailed explanations of my thought processes. Don’t be afraid to ask me any questions.
Thanks for the tip Whirls- very helpful even for myself having 6k battles in my ELC. Just a friendly suggestion- mitigate the redundancy - keep it short an sweet. It's like sourcing that Chicken Fried Steak recipe online but have to muddle through someone's family's backstory to find 6 ingredients. Keep up the great work- much appreciated!
It’s going to be redundant if I show the entire replay. This is why I say at the beginning that I have to make that choice between showing the entire replay and only the part that I actually really want to show. It’s like trying to please Republicans and Democrats at the same time. One person wants to see the whole game, the other wants to see just one part 🤷🏻♂️ Glad you enjoy the content. Many thanks for watching
I am so glad I found your channel. These in depth explanations are exactly what I am looking for. Keep this going and I hope you will be able to buy more than one basket of groceries from donations :)
I just present my content in a way that I would've wanted it to be presented to me when I was a noob. I'm glad to help you. These detailed Prok videos always get some extra attention
Tall light tanks vs medium tanks w/CVS is a crap matchup *especially* on this map. Hiding a WZ in that bush line is hard enough, let alone a SP1C or Bulldog but most TD and heavy drivers (who don't drive lights well or at all) don't know or care. Usually they're too far back over the mid-map hump to shoot what you spot anyway, and too stupid to realize that if you wanna have spotting later, you need to support them from the start as best you can.
@@1slotmech Agreed. I always try my best to be both helpful and safe. You always have to try and find that happy medium because at times it feels like they are almost mutually exclusive things. Thanks for watching, I know you’ve been here a while. Always appreciate the comments.
@WoTWhirls you can always put timestamps in description for people who want to see certain parts of it, and that will not effect the audience who want to see whole video. And thanks for the tips
A couple of years ago, I was claiming HWK 30 and RU 251 the best spotting medium tanks tier for tier. Nowadays, however, Bourrasque is taking that title for tier 8, and, in the next patch, Obj 416 will do the same for tier 9.
@@What_Other_Hobbies The bourrasque is absolutely ridiculous on some maps. Insane burst damage and other than it’s moving camo being different than it’s stationary, it’s able to do everything a light tank can do by being able to equip CVS.
That's what the trees are for to plug those gaps you run down the tree line you hit the tree and by the time you get to the Gap there's a tree that's plugging the Gap with lesser camera but if you're in a light with the camo it should work that's the theory
My best spotting damage record I manage to achieve on this map. Ironically its not even as an LT. I was playing as Char Futur, decided to take the risk and camp the bush in the middle and somehow manage to spot for +10k spottings. I only got spotted when I got to greedy and decide to take a shot at a progetto. Still manage to survive till the end though. 😂
I really think those bushes around the 10 minute mark are tall enough to be ok. I'd be happy to get in a training room to check it with you if interested.
@@FRUMindsEye You’d be absolutely blown away by the amount of bushes that you think are safe but they just aren’t either due to your tank being too tall or the bush just not working properly. There’s a bush I know of on fisherman’s bay that looks like a 50% bush but it’s a 20% at best.
@@peterbassey9668 appreciate your sub. I play lots of vehicles and am branching out more than before, but I’m the most knowledgeable with light tanks and will always prefer them over the other classes.
The three biggest things I learned playing this map in a LT 1, stay alive 2. the east side is kinda useless in most cases if you are running a LT 3. PAY ATTENTION to the Minimap,
@@haroldvoss5886 I agree with all three, but in some cases going East does have benefits. I’ll only do it if there’s like 3+ LTs though or if a very strange situation called for it.
@@ziginaigra I agree. I think it’s actually easier to spot from the north since you have better passive scouting locations, but it’s easier to advance going south to north.
@@brealistic3542 Haha, thank you, but jokes aside, I’m American. I certainly don’t expect someone like Skill4ltu to pronounce everything correctly when he speaks english either. In fact, I purposely pronounce some things in a very American way on purpose. Why fake a French accent when I say bourrasque if I’m an American? 🇺🇸
acording to some top notch german player it is recocmendet to use cvs instead of optics in medium tanks if you reach 445m without it. how do you stand to this?
@bostycraiova Just know, those that are impatient are just there for themselves. Ignore them, no matter how good they appear to be. I found that everyone has a 'spot' and every map has the 'play it this way' attitude. They do the exact same thing every time in every game. Too me that's boring, and not why I play any game. I've just always found it funny that the top tier in the match always blame the bottom for anything that isn't exactly the same as last time. Working that bush line is a coin toss, will always be 50/50 if you successfully spot that back line or not. Personally I don't normally play that line in my lights and enjoy watching them yell at me in chat. As he did in this video, a light can counter their advance elsewhere. Play around with it, you already know they're there. You don't need to do what everyone else does. Just find away to counter where you know they will be. You'll learn the maps far better than just the usual spots.
@@KlausHotter Because they’re unhappy with the game and what Wargaming has done to it. There’s no incentive to keep on playing. Hardly ever any new maps. The entire game experience is just hull-down brawling for the most part. Hardly ever any exciting game modes anymore like the soccer mode they did for the World Cup. There’s no cheaters in the game that I have ever found and very few if any bots at the top tiers.
@@smollbb I don’t think you need to have a 3k+ WN8 to understand the game and educate people on light tanks man. You can have your own opinion on that, but a lot of people have learned things from watching my channel. I claim in every video that I am NOT a unicum. I’m sure you are also aware that WN8 does not factor in assist damage at all. I’ve learned a lot of what I know and have over a 9400 WTR thanks to a guy called Steelgutsintn. Check his WN8 out and let me know what you think. Cheers.
@@menfaaanda It is what it is…Some people really obsess over WN8. I’d rather look at WTR. WN8 is easy af to pad at low tiers. If bro really wants a 3k WN8, I’ll have it for him by tomorrow by playing Covenanter with my 7k average wn8 or whatever it is in that vehicle.
