@@afairyist9981 in summary, Dammon's actor Frazer Blaxland liked and shared some transphobic posts on twitter, as well as liking a few pro-Israel posts, made a lot of fans, particulary lgbtq fans, upset. It especially wasn't great cause he was working directly with Sam Béart on Streamily, who is very open about being nonbinary. Well, worked with, last I saw she wasn't working with him until he sorted his heart over this. Which, if anything will inspire that, it'd be admonishment from someone he works with and supposedly respects as a friend.
I was listening to the first half of this stream in the car. As soon as I heard Neil start laughing after they had let Shadowheart cut her hand at the Shar altar, I immediately knew he had yoinked the dagger, hahaha. Didn't even need to see it -- I could just hear the chaos in his laugh followed by Tom's horrified, "What did you do???" 😂😂

When the opportunity to kiss Astarion appeared in my game, I did it countless times and I would say the same number of words of gratitude to Neil for the work he did. Thank you for giving Astarion the voice that made him truly alive. I love my Astarion very much, he is in caring hands. I look forward to new videos every time! @@murmeltier6967 Dammon's actor turned out to have followed certain extreme persons on Twitter that're pretty much highly controversial on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I don't go on Twitter much to know a lot, but the gist from what people say and Frazer's (Dammon's VA) account, it was that those persons he followed were against victims of the war and against trans people. I did see Frazer address this on a post that he stopped following them, but it was only after fans found out about it that he did. I still like Dammon (as in, the character himself) and know that the character wasn't made by him and separate the two, but I pretty much avoid most of the things going on with his actor now. There's an irony to him having played a helpful Tiefling being driven out due to discrimination. Edit: clarified the Twitter thing

When you get to Balthazar, and you see a tiny, dead body near a broken lamp, can you see if you can revive it? I don't think you can do talk with dead on it. I just really want to see if it can come back to life and if it'd give you anything in return. Has anyone tried?
Dammon's VA was caught posting some transphobic comments and liking some very incendiary posts about the situation in the Gaza. He's since unfollowed the accounts he'd been liking the Tweets from, but the damage had already been done and he hasn't really apologized for it.
Man I also reached that area recently but mods broke my save, and then I lost it after reinstalling windows 😭 Now I'm playing the game from the beginning. I learned my lesson not to use so many mods
