If these stories/excerpts are from books of an established author, how did you manage to get permission? And wouldn't he/she allow you to narrate the entire stories?

As a new narrator to this niche, although I have been narrating horror/creepypastas on another channel for 4 years now, are you by chance allowing any other narrators to narrate any of your works?
