i remember when these types of videos were uploaded every day. i would watch them as soon as i got off the bus from school as a freshman in high school, and eat pizza rolls. every. single. day. shane was a HUGE part in me coping with depression and anxiety after my dad died my freshman year of high school. i am thankful for his cheerful spirit, and thankful for his growth over the years, along with mine. THANK YOU SHANE!!

In case you're wondering, Shane, microwaves heat up/vibrate water molecules from the inside out. That's why microwaving something completely dry won't make it explode. If you want explosions, find something wet (like the Orbeez)! Not that you'll ever see this comment anyway, but y'know.

Monet Jines As far as I'm aware, it's not, but maybe some microwaves are different? I've always been told that it's from the inside out, though, and that's also what I've experienced when heating things up. For example, if you make a bowl of oatmeal, it's safer to eat from around the outside edge first, because it's not as hot as the middle.

Rosetta One the cause for the heating are the microwaves emitted by the microwave, so they can't start in the inside of an object or something like that. Just like other waves (for example light), they effect the outside first. And whenever I eat a microwaved bowl of cereal, the outside ring of cereal is hot as shit xD
