I remember in 2020 the president at the time was going to do a news conference regarding C19. This was just before everything shut down. I’m not sure why, but as soon as I heard he was going to speak I went to several stores stocking up on specific things, one was TP. Who knew politicians would be so full of crap that the US would be short of TP :))))). Anyway, a week later, when it was announced schools would be shut down for 2 weeks (turned out to be 1.5 years) here in VA, I stocked up on food. The line was to the back of the store and my blood ran cold. Meat cases were empty as well as grocery shelves. Never again, if I can help it! I stay stocked up no matter what. A little here, a little there. Now I am hitting Azure Standard pretty hard to fine tune my preps. We never know when one will lose a job, get sick or God knows what else will happen in this crazy world. I try to be as ready as I can and It’s a great feeling that I can help others in need as well.
I am definitely more prepared now than I was back then. Like you mentioned about job loss…..just having food so you can cut down the grocery bill if you do have a job loss would be a great blessing. I always tell my kids that even if there is a food shortage, there won’t be one at our house! Glad you are prepared….you just never know.
Your casual, natural style makes me feel like I'm chatting with a like-minded neighbor. Thx for your work! I got the all american precisely because it doesn't have any parts that wear out, and every time I can, I think about getting an extra weight to stash away... may order one today!
That is the reason I bought mine as well. And they are American made and extremely heavy duty! I’m so glad I decided on this brand. I am so glad you enjoy my little chats! It is nice to be able to talk about these things with like minded people…..even if it is through social media and not face to face:)
It's one school in west Tennessee in Humboldt. That's the only closure I've seen, and county schools often have to take precautions even during regular flu season.
I don’t recall seeing any other shutdowns in any schools since everything opened back up after 2020. This just peaked my interest because I’m wondering if this will spread to neighboring states and start a chain reaction in school closures. It might be nothing, and I hope it is nothing, but it makes me wonder.
So glad I saw you. Great advice. I do have a question for anybody who might have the answer. I grow tomatoes, basil and onions in my small garden in my yard in the Houston area. I have had success for years, so many tomatoes I would pick 20-30 daily. All of a sudden we jad several days of "smog" and I never grew another tomato. I feel like it was something in the air that may have been sprayed. Any one else experience this during this past summer?
There is a lot of talk about chem trails causing this gardening year to be very challenging for a lot of people. I grew 200 plants and still wasn’t able to get all the tomatoes I needed:(
I hope more people are seeing what is happening now. Unfortunately in my day to day life, it seems like people are just still living the dream and have no idea things are as bad as they are. Their wallets may be emptier and their bank accounts slimmer but I dont see a lot of behavior / spending habit changes.
Where do you watch your news and headlines? Genuinely curious. I try steer clear of news altogether, but also think some things are important to know about😜
The WHO info was on MSN.com The school closures were on dailymail.co.uk, and the EEE curfew was on CNN. I don’t necessarily follow these specific sources, but sometimes just checking my yahoo email or FB can bring some of these news reports to my attention:)
