This is really the best advice for anyone new to kayak fishing. Seriously just take your new boat out on the water a few times COMPLETELY STOCK first. Add gear / accessories as you go, and as they're needed for your situation. Start simple, keep it minimal, LESS IS MORE in most cases. When you do make mods or add anything, really think it through, and try to keep everything as clean and streamlined as you can. Only drill holes if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY... Your future self will thank you, and you'll have much more enjoyment.
Great video! I’m now several years in on kayak fishing but I wish I’d seen this when I was just starting. KEEP IT SIMPLE. And go fishing first! Things like what side of the kayak is your preferred for landing fish … invaluable before you rig accessories. Great advice !
