+1 for Audacity. I really wanna try LMMS. I do own a CentOS machine, usually for my other kind of works. I think a debian (like Ubuntu, Mint etc) would be more suitable for LMMS. Haha. Need to get my hands dirty in that sometime 😀

I'm a rapper, but audio is something that I'm really fond of. Like most middleclass guys, I didn't wanna invest in anything in fact even 1 year ago I had no serious intentions about music. I started off with just putting raw vocals on instrumentals, I had a good pc but never thought about running a DAW on it. The amount of aporeciation I got for my writing and music from my fellow artists pushed me to download bandlab, after 5 months I finally got all in, started lerning I don't know why but I just got everythibg I needed like mix engineer, producers for free. If you just wanna know if music is your forte or not a phone is all you need. Of course now I wanna go professional, I'm learning production and mixing got some monitors.

Asalam o alikum sir I’m from Pakistan and I started my home studio setup sir I have one question I have midi keyboard Casio ct 670 and I used FL STUDIO but my problem is that midi keyboard only play one note at once it’s not play two or more notes together e.g chords .. so please give me best advice what I do I’m waiting for your response thank you 😊

Hey, it depends on how you wanna proceed, Some do as a Music Maker some as an Instrument player. You need something through which you can implement the theory you learn.
