The round Razer stickers go on the exhaust side of the fan (the round part of the frame in the center that doesn't spin). That way you don't have to look at the ugly Conformity European and other certification logos.
Not necessarily 100% correct. Sure itlf you want to have a stupid heat routing in your system and exhaust downwards this would be true but in my case this isn't correct. Yes the sticker is on the exhaust side but if your exhaust is going up then you are going to see those stickers
@@RazPlayz3 I misworded what I meant I think. By exhaust side, I meant the side that has that actually attaches the fan motor to the rest of the van housing. So for instance in your case, the bottom and side fans are setup as intake, the sticker goes in that center spot on the fan. Lian Li supplies a similar sticker with their fans.
Ok I see what you mean but personally I wish they just had no stickers at all on the exhaust side of the fan and instead it was solid black. I want to have the cleanest black and green setup as possible and those round stickers have all that chroma stuff on it, just not my cup of tea you know
Im cureently trying to install 9 razer kunai fans into my 011 Dynamic case but my razer rgb controller only has 6 ports for fans & my pwm controller only has 8 spots for fans so how do I achieve this? I wish your video would have showl how you connect all your fans to help in this case. Any help?
@@LuisHernandez-ez8kj the razer kunai fans have daisy chaining for the RGB, meaning for each port on the RGB controller you can chain 3 fans together. So for 9 fans you only need to use 3 ports, leaving 3 ports for other things like RGB strips or anything else. For the pwm signal from the fan controllers I recommend using pwm fan splitters. Probably 2 way splitters as to not overload a single pwm port
@@LuisHernandez-ez8kj No problem man, and I recommend using noctua ones but they are pretty expensive, so if you want something cheaper then try ekwb splitters. I'm my newest rig I'm using ek splitters
razer and fans, is there anything razer makes that actually perform good? for me they are company that make products to look good eye apealing and thats about it.
While I do agree with you on their other products like monitors and laptops, I think for my application the razer case, fans, and pwm controller are just fine. For case fans these 120mm are really quiet and that's coming from someone who has mainly used noctua fans. Sure they don't push as much air as some other fans or have as high static pressure but they push enough air quietly that when I do upgrade to 3 x 360mm radiator custom loop air flow will be my last worry. So my main concern was visuals in this case, which makes you correct lol. My point is they perform decent enough for what I need which is why I say if you can't get them cheap then they are definitely not worth it get noctua or lian LI if you want rgb
