Awesome vid, like how it's raw with all the bail edits, and not over glorified with perfected moments. A nice display of balls, persistence, creativity, and action.
It kind of makes one happy to see people fail, cause it makes oneself realize that you just don't get better at a sport without failing, repeating and succeeding.
@dissect1000 it does man. i started snowboarding when i was five years old and i took it quite seriously going every season. when i was about 14 i started skateboarding, especially bombing hills in san francisco and doing some longboarding and the next season after that i noticed a huge improvement in my snowboarding. i had more confidence and felt a lot more natural going down the mountain. good luck bro!
These guys are literally crazy! I respect them so much for the way they can just break the mental barriers of restriction and do crazy stunts. Then when they fall or mess up they just get up and keep trying until they succeed. They can do anything they put their minds to. Seriously, it's incredible.
this vid was fucking awesome snowboardings so amazing its so much bigger than rideing a board down a mountain and it changes lives i damn well know its changed mine, the progression the people you meet the vibe that it brings, even the waiting is awesome because it just makes it that much better. I hope everyone has a rad season and memories are made, i cant wait to ride!
I was speaking more to the other aspects of riding, but you make a good point. Snowboarding is like anything. Each fall is worth a little bit of experience.
they use a rope tow system that pulls them towards what theyre going for. Thats what the handle they were holding onto is at certain parts. Its kinda like a handle that wake boarders hold onto, except attached to a large motorized wheel instead of a boat.
Dude i hear you... Ontario, Canada got next to no snow this year. Our best hills were at MAYBE over 80cm of snow, 4 months into our winter. My local hill was varying between 40-60, of fake snow. it was ridiculous. I went out to bc for nearly two weeks, never was it below 260cm. THATS a place id kill to live.
You know what I like about these guys? Even though they are really good at snowboarding, they are humble enough to let us see when they fail on even the easiest tricks. Lesson learned: Even when you fall on something dumb, it doesn't necessarily mean you're bad. Lol
Jeeze that sucks bro I would initially think that yours would open earlier than ours but dont worry itll be here faster than you think lol there was already natural snowfall of around 2 to 3 inches here should be a good year for everyone
Those two essential parts of snowboarding for me I guess:) Now I've finished the season my ribs and palms hurt but I've managed to do some railslides:)
I've been shovelling the snow off my igloo since mid october eh, only dang ol machine i got up here is this laptop and one of those fancy shovels with the crooked handle. darn thing near saved my life from the blizzard of June 2012!
