I feel like moving my area with my hive so we can set up the tower is more of a hassle than being beneficial. My previous area was polluted, had oil, and was on water. We tried this purification last night and because we're in sort of a small, enclosed area, elites were spawning inside out houses.

The bad thing with Thermal Towers is so bad with them being placed easily but unable to be destroyed hence there's massive placements of towers but some hives being unable to have a tower of their own To add note, the purification of thermal towers is also a public crisis event hence people joining.
@@danielrafaelt.macrohon6733 yeah well they saved my base and that randos base that's for sure. I actually gave that dude access to the tower I felt so bad hah. Idk what they could do to prevent all the space from being taken but I could see how not being able to find a good spot for the tower would be frustrating
This scenario is gonna be full of trolls xD , every mechanic has the oportunity to troll someone .... you can put a tower next to a base and just let the purification wipe the house xD .
Towers aren't movable but yeah in theory with enough grinding you could troll people by destroying their base. These are public crisis events that are labeled on the map though so randoms might play hero
You need to put the bases close together. Build some walls to protect the tower. Phase 3 and 4 will have large enemies when Purify . You need to upgrade the damage buff, range, and damage for automatic guns.
I'm hating the fact that somebody has built a tower near my bass over night ... and know that my bass can get totally destroyed if I'm not there to defend it.
This is troublesome when someone build a tower next to anyone's base. Make building immune to attack when offline or get agreement from nearby residence just like getting any city permit before building. lol Edit: I should say not just immune to offline attack but also when player away from their base not able to fight what is there, make their building immune.
@@amj2048 I don't like other people base leeching my tower if I see someone base not from my hive and they wouldn't move I let their base get wrecked until they move.
Can always contact the hive and see if any of them has upgraded defense weapons. I have these perks and after reading these comments I'm going to visit my neighbors. Our squad of 6 popped up overnight. Time to make friends. Hi neighbor!
Im still only level 22 and been playing 100% solo. I'm struggling lol. I didn't even know we get our own thermal tower, idk even how to deposit chaosium into one. Im trying to learn all the mechanics but im so far behind
If its not your tower, you can't deposit anything into it but you must request permissions from its owner. Even if you're in the same hive, warband, only the only initially has admin access and storage access only.
@@Froggy_Bomb yeah towers are this seasons main gameplay loop and grind really. Honestly I'd just try to find a hive or just go set up next to a random thermal tower and hope they accept you haha because this tower is a grind solo
i constantly purify when i get to 100% but i know some guys that have lvl 28 and never purified..i am so confused :)) they can still upgrade the tower without purifiying
Or you could do like we did, the 2 of us 😀 .... get your base to 24 and that´s it. Won´t be upgrading anymore, now it´s time to grind silos, dungeons and help the community out when needed to defend towers.
Any clue what materials are needed to repair the tower? I logged in today and apparently one of my hivemates hit the purify button and half my house and the tower itself is destroyed. I can hit the repair button but it doesn't tell me what mats I need to put in to fix it.
Towers are a great idea in theory with such an awful execution. For a solo player this is at best something to completely ignore, at worst something that is going to repeatedly get your based trashed with potentially no recourse other than to move.
we purify ours yesterday, video on my channel, ours was lvl 25 and was kinda hard, we got the deviants monsters and no chaosweaver. Im afraid of the chaosweaver appearing at the purification.
No kidding a chaos weaver would have wiped every base in the area if it spawned when I purified the tower. I still haven't got confirmation that it's possible for them to spawn and attack the tower yet
They will prolly mainly target bases at that point. They spawned on the outer edge of the towers radius so I'd assume they spawn on the outside of your bases having to break them to get to the tower
@@FringePatriotGaming yeah we found its best to just have everyone protect their bases rather than the tower. its super easy once you have the interlaced frost and fire upgrades.
@@FringePatriotGaming it gets better, winter season for me started losin my perfect 5-4 blue festerin gel in the intro missions mitsukos container. Nowhere to be found not eternal land, not backpack, literally nowhere. RIP the 300 controller i spent farmin that boss on Pro mode.
Not that I've seen, I've only heard people complaining about losing their entire hives worth of bases because they said the thermal tower attracted it. This could have just that they maybe placed the tower near a chaos weaver spawn, once human devs said chaos weavers would attack these in later phases so it's possible that their tower did spawn one. I can't say for sure though
If you watch the purification he does have that hole in the floor below the roof, so the ceiling if you will. That had a hole in it I'm assuming to let light in for his plants. But yeah when it comes to the walls those got tore up
did lvl 18 purification.... lol even w ith 30000 durability... the tower didnt last more than 3 minutes against vulture elites LOL and it not like 1 spawn.. it multiple haha
@@Sanotsuke yeah the three giant ones spawned when I purified and I thought we were cooked. It's intense that's for sure and it kind of sucks you can't build any turrets in the are of the turret that's not your base
Fucking reward I can't got that reward from event and word deff card 4 dll, useles destroy your base with that new tower westing resources to repair it 😂 I think starcrome reward it work but 😂, i thin taht tower only good for buff not purify reward so bad
