Hi! Ate Demi 😊 I agree, we're not perfect nagkakamali rin po tayo.. Its easy to judge if you are the reader, but its hard if you are the writer. Kung magkamali o may mali itama nalang sana wag nang i judge or kung ano pa. Focus on the work.. we write because we want to write, not to impress anyone or everyone and prove that you are good. Kaya madaming sumusuko, eh. Nadedemotivate sa mga negative sa paligid nila. Just write.. yun ang natutunan ko sa mga vlog mo ate demi. Thank you sa video. Nainspire po ako.😊

May napanood nga ako na isang video. Ang sabi nung RU-vidr: "If we all cancel someone with just a single mistake, we would be all alone eventually." Kaya agree ako dito. Of course, we ought to call out someone kung ang behavior at actions niya ay destructive at harmful--at lalo na if they are persistent, intentional, at unapologetic sa mga ginagawa nila. Pero we ought to be tolerant and be gracious sa isang tao when they commit a mistake, lalo na if talagang nakikita natin na talagang apologetic and humble yung tao. Saka isa pa, before we all pronounce guilty, we ought to ask ourselves if itong isang bagay na ito na ginawa niya eh ginagwa ba din natin--be it known or not? We would look hypocritical if ganito. Saka, we ought to know first the truth before giving conclusions or judgements. Dapat maging discerning tayo sa nakikita natin. Not all things that we see ay yun na talaga. Minsan may malalim na dahilan din kung bakit ganun. Yun lang. 💙💚💪

Hello po, Ate Demi. Isa po akong aspiring writer and I started writing po talaga at a very young age pero nanatili na po ako at hindi na makausad dahil sa writer's block. Ang last novel po na nasulat ko ay noong 2016 pa and iyong last na flashfiction ay noong 2018 pa. Fortunately, I found one of your videos about writer's block and naging tuloy-tuloy na po iyong panonood ko ng videos mo that actually helped me and still helping me to recover my lost passion. This is the reason why I stopped writing before. Natatakot akong ma bash lalo na't di ako gaano marunong magsulat at ang dami ko pang mga wrong grammars. But ngayon, ay bumalik na ulit ako sa pagsusulat. Thanks to my family at friends ko na palaging binoboost ang confidence ko🥰💖

Agree ,,pero .. wala namang perpektong manunulat lahat may maling grammar normal lang 'iyan sa mga ibang writers ,, nasa reader na iyon kung gusto nilang basahin .. or hindi .. basta importante ay patuloy parin tayo sa fashion sa pagsusulat...

Hi ate Demi! New avid viewer here po. Can you do a video po on how to effectively write about the character's job po? 🥺 Kung ano yung daily routine in their job. Basta diyan po kasi ako medyo nag sa-struggle. I rely on research nalang talaga but baka po meron po kayong mas effective na way na technique para maincorporate ng maayos yung job po nila. Demi, thanks for sharing this video and your thoughts. Ayan, may sasabihin ako na maaring ma-disappoint ang mga nakakakilala sa akin, but I'm letting it all out. No one is perfect and we are all works in progress. I used to participate in cancel culture. Until I saw it happen to one of my fellow writer friends and nakita ko ang epekto. Tipong kahit nag-sorry na yung tao, ayaw pa rin tanggapin. It doesn't really solve problems. Pero ang upside, mas natutuong maging responsible at think before you click talaga. Also, I apologize to you lalo na isa ako sa mga nagcancel sa iyo dati. Nagkamali ako sa pagiging in the heat of the moment. I learned na I cannot impose my views on others. Mas mabuti na umunawa muna at makinig kaysa magkondena just because we don't share the same views. And even if I don't share the same views with others, dahil I will meet people who are different than me, and I'm also different from them, we can work on understanding and common goals, like with helping the writing community. We may not interact so much unlike before but thank you Demi for the lessons. May the Lord guide you.

I've been thinking about this since noong sineryoso ko na ang pagsusulat. I'm not actually thinking about what my readers would feel about my stories cuz ik in myself na hindi naman ako magsusulat ng something na nakaka-offend. What bothers me as Christian too is kung ano yung mararamdaman ni God sa novels ko. Okay lang kaya sa kaniya? I'm scared. What if may nasulat akong labag sa kalooban niya? Minsan kasi kahit hindi man natin aminin (specially to us Christians), hindi maiiwasang may maisulat tayo na lampas sa limitations natin as a Christians. Ang hirap i-explain, but yeah... 😊

Hello po ate Demi! Isa din po ako sa mga unfamous writer sa wattpad. Natatakot din po akong mag write minsan dahil kapag naka isip ako ng story ay pumapasok nalang ito sa sarili ko na "Pano kung may ganito na palang stories sa Wattpad." Palagi po yang pumasok sa isip ko kaya natatakot ako minsan mag write. Ayoko po kasing biglang may mag-comment sakin na copycat dahil lang may kaparehas ako ng story😅😅😅 Papano po ba maiwasan yun, Ate? Sa tuwing may naisip ako pumapasok nalang sa isip ko na what if may kaparehas ako ng idea?

I think this message is for me as an amateur writer, di ako nag hesitate, i click it right away then the message are all on point. Im the type of person pa naman na naapektuhan sa kritisismo, kaya sinisikap ko na i filter ang pag kakaiba ng kritisismo at suggestions. Gaya nga ng sinabi mo ate dems, walang mangyayari kung ikubli lang natin for the sake na ma please lang yung iba. Kasi i do believe when we write, everything we put are all genuine. Societal norms at standards ang nag rerestrict sa malayang pag susulat ng mga writers. Wala din naman masama kung may pamantayan or standards nagiging masama lang ito pag na take out of hand.

I want to say na very thankful ako sa Kanya kasi everytime na nagsusulat ako then natapos ko ang isang chapter o one-shot story, naiisip ko kaagad Siya with a smile on my face. Minsan nga kapag nagsusulat ako naiisip ko Siya kaya nagbabalak ako na isali si God sa story ko soon kasi naba-bother ako kapag may scenario na about healing tapos tao ang naging dahilan.
