@@alexjensen9490same, that's the only one I've done so far but it was pretty great honestly, felt like a very nice return to traditional dungeons after BotW 👌👌
All the bargainer statues are beneath a "religious" location, including the springs of power/wisdom/courage, the forgotten temple, and both temples of time
Here's some gear you can get immediately. Fly to Hyrule castle, in the throne room there is a royal guard sword, claymore, spear, bow and shield. Some of the best and highest damage/shield items in the game. You can get more each bloodmoon.
@@nundulan You must have a good stamina! Just walk as close as you can get, climb the highest peak you can find and jump in direction to the castle. You will most likely grab and be able to climb from the bottom of it. Then, try to find a way through your climbing to stand still and use your power to go through things. (I completely forgot the name of it). That's how I did it yesterday.
Tip, if you use the inventory to collect the Travel Medallion you it will auto select the most recent one you placed. You can select it from the map and remove it from there so you can choose an older one if you want.
Take a picture of a treasure chest. And just leave that on most of the game until you're trying to locate the very last few shrines, then you can switch over. You will find the Sage Wills much more easily. Also, use your Sensor+ to great effect when trying to upgrade clothes or looking for Zonaite ore.
Four of the Sage Wills are on very difficult to reach round sky islands. Which is a lesson in itself about Zelda. If you see something weird, your brain should automatically go into now-how-do-I-get-there mode.
It is easy to miss the last step of Robbie's quest because he says he's going to the Lab but actually he goes outside and wants you to fix his balloon.
Oh man, I was disappointed hero's path wasn't in this (assumed it would be DLC), I'm pumped it's in! I think that's way better than travel medallions. Sure they're convenient, but for me, hero's path shows where I haven't been, so it's very helpful for exploration.
You also have to beat at least one temple. I got burned by that on my own playthrough, I've been progressing all four major questlines simultaneously, and finished one only *after* I unlocked the entire map.
Tip the end of this quest is buggy as hades. Can’t leave the room? Give yourself as much space as possible. Start by the wall and walk towards the door in a straight line.
I wonder if we are now done with this world. If so and it's a new engine I hope we get proper underwater travel. Even a game where link is an outcast from Hyrule and you traverse far off areas would be cool
Yeah and I absolutely hate them now. So many hidden cave shrines with cave entrances all the way across the map to get ot that one shrine. Just got to 144 shrines and all the ones I need are in caves, or quests.
As much as I'd love a BOTW/TOTK treatment of Termina, I think they'll easily farm another game with the same map, considering how much money they made with Tears of the Kingdom.
Sage's vow and quick travel prototype are pretty helpful. it doesn't feel like the Hero's path is very helpful, but pretty cool to see. and i kinda like the bargain statues, especially the set of the depths armor.
Best use of Hero's path is to kinda get a visual of where you haven't actually been, so perhaps later in the game during "clean-up" you can easily find new places to discover
In order to get Robbie to go to the lab you need to complete one of the Main Quest Temples. I recommend starting with the Wind one, the skill you get as a reward is very handy. I think you need 2 Temples to get to the Respec Statue, but it might be just one.
@@reddodeado301 Dude. I found out that after I went to a inconspicuous massage parlor I felt so much better when the cute petite masseuse massaged my temples.
I think you have to progress Josha's mission in the depths beyond the first one for Robbie to go back to the Hattenno village lab. That's what my Robbie is saying and i've only done the intro depths statue mission.
I've been putting of doing the rest of Robbie's quest because I dont end up using Sensor+ much, but knowing it also gives me Hero's Path and Travel Medallions? Oh yeah, I'm going back there next session :D
Pretty sure after doing the fire temple I spoke to Robbie at Lookout Landing and he mentioned he was returning to his lab and to come visit him. So it's probably around then that you can get it.
with the bargain statue u just need to get one po and u can speak with it no need to start the quest line as i did that in my run as i like to do exploring before any quests so i dont take them on
Also, unlocking autobuild is not enough to get Robbie to move. You first have to clear a temple before that. I got autobuild way before I even started thinking of temples (hell, even before I got the camera, to be honest. Stumbled upon it entirely by chance) and wasn't able to proceed the questline, since Josha was just busy and Robbie was "helping" Josha. It was only after I cleared the temple that Josha acknowledged me getting the autobuild, letting me repair Robbie's balloon after which the guy finally offered to go to Hateno.
Useful tip, but slight spoiler... When traveling to the last boss fight, there's a long section with no teleport points in between. You can drop one of your travel medallions on the cliff before you jump in to start the last boss fight, allowing you to fast travel back whenever you want to and not have to go through the long, enemy filled, passageway to the last fight. After you drop it, save. When you beat the boss, It will load to your last save with your travel medallion still there.
This is also useful for if you use all of your weapons getting to the last boss fight. There are many enemies through the corridor, and several of them are very hard. Including a Lynel. If you're quick, you can run past most of them, but if you want to fight them, you may end up using a bunch of your weapons. If you drop the travel medallion before the last fight, you can leave and replenish your stock before starting the final fight.
Playing it just like i did in BOTW, focus on Towers first, while raiding Hyrule castle for weapons, then Misko's treasure and great fairies for upgrades, then Master sword, then temples and main plot.
Trading stamina and hearts is really good for the master sword, basically go to the korok forest for the method of getting it there and make sure to have like some stamina (like 2/5) and mainly hearts (like 8 - 10) and then afterwards swap it to a second full stamina bar for the sword, that’s what I did and it saved me doing 8 more shrines to get 2 more parts for my second bar
Oh, the Deku Tree will tell you how to get the sword? I did it in another order, and the Deku Tree and the sword were almost completely unrelated in my game.
Well you just need to collect for of the shrines before doing his, then when you swap it, you go back and add what you gave up. Boom it balances out and you gained 100 rupees with no real loss.
After you complete josha’s quest talk with her about ur discovery of the new rebuild ability then ur gonna fix robbies transport back to hateno village and then right after talk with josha again telling her about the arch enemy then right after that dialogue then go talk to robbie and he will then leave out for hateno village and he says he will meet you there. If you travelled the entire hyrule map before doing these missions they should be a breeze unlocking and upgrading ur purah pad in seconds fully … 🎉🎉🎉
But you can't get the upgrades for the Purah pad until you beat at least of the temples, before or after auto-build. Why did the video say "get these upgrades early" if there's a main requirement?
Lmao I will finally start doing some of these now that I completed the game. I didn't do any temples or many of the substantial quests from the start, I just found enough shrines to max out my health and get the master sword and then boss-rushed Ganondorf and his army. Way better way to play the game to begin with, I think, because I haven't played around with the building or any of the game's expansive new content, yet I've already got so many hours racked up just on the basic BOTW experience and it still felt fresh. Truly a fantastic game.
The hakani tech lab final part of the quest is buggy as heck. Where you can’t leave the room bc you’re testing the shrine sensor. In order to get it to work you should stand against the wall of the house and walk towards the door in a straight line. Walking or running all over the house won’t work and walking from the middle of the room won’t work either. Hopefully they fix this asap
After I'd written a program for 13 years my friend that bought it from me for $600K, sent the program to California to be 'debugged'. He spent $50,000 to test it, which I told him was wasted money. They (the debugger's) got a fat chick to sit on the keyboard of a computer running my program, which crashed and burned immediately. My point, no one is perfect. It takes time to fix things not apparent to begin with.
When you run out of bounds for this activity, Robbie resets you and faces you right at the temple. All you have to do then is walk the direction Link is facing and Robbie will let you go.
Funny thing about Robbie that most of us probably didn’t even think about was how impossible his balloon journey was with real game mechanics. I don’t believe he had any way to as much as steer or move horizontally but mostly of all the zonai balloon would expire loads of times in that journey. Dawg is clearly the balloon master yet need us to build it lol
For robbie, i beleave you need to talk to him after you get far enough, and then he will go. I say this becus after talking to him, i fast travled right to the village, and he was there.
If you don’t see Robbie, you have to go talk to him at lookout landing then rebuild his balloon. Once done talk to him again he will say goodbye. You’ll go to Hanteno Tech Lab and he will be there along with his balloon.
you can get to the Shrine that takes hearts and stams even sooner by going through hyrule castle. Thats what I did. then agian i never needed to use that statue as is.
I just got past the part with the Bargain statue. You select the first option and offer it Poe's. When when you ask about other statues it doesn't cost as much -- thought it was ten. Was confused when it took one hundred
I figured out that the bargainers seem to be directly below all the overworked goddess statues, easy way to find them for cheap if you know the goddess locations 😊
that aligns with what ive seen, one under the temple of time, one at each spring of virtue... one under the great plateu's temple of time... everywhere that has a large goddess statue (skyward sword style)
I completed the depths mission to find robbie for the camera and obtained auto build and showed josha the picture. Actively avoided doing the main story beats after that depth mission and miniboss at the central mine. I've uncovered all the maps and have done 98 shrines and found all his breathen and completed the stable missions. Enemies are black and silver rank. Obtained 300 korak seeds. Obtained most of the armor in the game. Max stamina and 15 hearts. And yet Josha is still on the first piece of the puzzle and robbie won't leave until she does more of the puzzle. How much more time needs to pass? It's been weeks.
After that here’s a free duping glitch first save then watch 4 memories then load that save then before you load your save throw your weapon then load your save
Me thinking the depths is this gruesome place (everybody warned about the miasma etc) and doing 3 temples before everybody going down there for the first time😢😅
I havent do any story yet. Im still exploring shrines and korok. What u meant advanced with story line do i need to complete one of the temple first? Rito/gerudo/zora whatever?
Robbie moves to the Purah Pad location after you've completed the first Depths quest where you've taken pictures of the statue. When you come up from underground he will thank you and tell you that he will move to the Purah Pad research lab or something like that. Until the quest is done he will be at Lookout Landing.
@@skyhijinx thank you. That at least means I don't have to worry too much about it and just upgrade one I like and soon enough I'll have all of them upgraded. ^^
My favorite thing so far is obtaining the ability to use the earth-wake attack that the bigger Yiga members preform. In order to get it you must infiltrate their original stomping grounds by obtaing the yiga outfit. Also they have their own version of the thunder helm so its definitely worth going through the trouble to get the Yiga outfit
They are in the depths too, but when you get them from amiibo you can also buy them from the poe shops. Like for example I have the shiek mask from amiibo, then found it in game too, sold the duplicate. Which you can buy back too.
Does upgrading the sages avatar only increase damage? I only have Sidon and I was thinking of using the Wills I already have to upgrade Tulin once I unlock him cause he seem to have the most useful ability. But if it's just damage I'll just upgrade Sidon right now.
I want the shrine sensor but i cant get the mystery of the depths quest to activate! I want all the way to Robbie's lab and it says hes in lookout landing. I go there and he just says he will he there later on. What do i do???
You'll need to beat at least one Temple to trigger the next step in Josha's quest, and then once that's done it should trigger the quest that sends Robbie back to the lab
I had 60 koroks, 15 towers, 1/3rd of the depths and 3 sages rescued (and probably not the ones you'd think) before I found the Purah Pad upgrades and the Respec statue.
