can i use skyworthy in shipwreck to hamlet? and use seaworthy in hamlet to shipwreck? i don't want to vanilla world i just wanna hamlet and shipwreck link together
None of my followers can go with me you say? Good thing my world had supernatural Rock Lobsters who travelled with me to Shipwrecked world and now live on a rock island. Bugs can be real fun sometimes. xD
@@legendofthenight2687 They will follow you if you give them rocks. Apparently there was (and probably still is) a bug that allows them to sometimes travel with you between worlds.
Fun fact: if you arrive in hamlet for the first time and aporcalypse has already begun just press alt+f4 , it will close the game and upon re-entering your world, you will find that it is day one in hamlet. there will be a little bit of a desync between the worlds but it will usually cause no glitches in the long run.
@@lotusfrucht111 day counter in hamlet will just not be syncronised with the one in the rog so if you go to hamlet at day 50 and perform this glitch day counter will be smaller by 50 days nothing else
I'm still so salty over the fact that the first time playing ship wrecked, I found this thing in like 5 minutes, knew obviously nothing about it and was back in RoG all of the sudden. Great DLC y'all.
@@orestisgeorgatos6725 Reign of Giants is the first DLC for Don't Starve - it adds stuff to the solo Don't Starve experience (such as the deciduous biome) rather than adding a whole new world to explore like Shipwrecked and Hamlet
fair warning. if you go into a hamlet world while previously playing another world that has 65+ days, you'll be placed in an eternal aporkalypse. you'll have to go through the entire process of turning the calendar so prepare lots of armour, weapons, healing, and gunpowder.
some guy around the comments said you can just altF4 and hamlet will be set to day 1 when you come back, if it isn't just a bug and it isn't fixed there's that alternative
The truffle and the sow are the easiest to obtain actualy. I don’t know which in which, but they always spawn in the pugalisk-leading ruin and the pig palace-leading ruin. Which the latter you NEED to explore through to even trade with the queen anyways. Might want to remember that.
yeah, I normally just find one of them while trying to find my way to the palace, it's not even in a hidden room so no gunpowder required. Just walking around a bit, easy silly string/key to the city/hammer early.
this might have been a bug but a while back if you make every world separate with different characters you can then build up each world with a specific character like make massive amounts of wickerbottom books in ROG, make a massive amounts of sufboards with walani and have all kinds of perks with wilba and then link all the worlds you can travel through each world with the specific craftable character perks and you mega base with your favorite character.
Hey The Beard, you beat me to it. I was going to say in the comments. Use sky/sea worthy to skip seasons/giants you dont want to deal with. But the one thing that can't be skipped, (drum roll please) COFFEE.!! Once you drink this nectar from the gods. You will have to have this potent plant in every world, even IRL. ; ) Thanks The Beard & have a great day.
one question! What happens if you die in a linked world? can you respawn in one of your other worlds? or are you deadzo if you don't have a touchstone or equivilent?
How can i add to my sw world compatible with hamlet another already existing rog world compatible with sw? In my sw i build shipworthy and skyworthy but i can't add my rog world it's univialable when i decide start new game or link worlds via skyworthy. In my rog world i build seaworthy and generated new sw world just for fun and I didn't play it at all. What i should do to link them?
That's kinda weird as no matter what RoG should always be available but in short ALWAYS make any world compatible with hamlet even if you don't plan on going to it cause those types of worlds have access to all three.
here is how you use these devices to fast travel to a place in the over world Build skyworthy where you want to teleport from and seaworthy where you want to teleport to Use skyworthy to go to shipwrecked build seaworthy near spawning point Use seaworthy to transfer to seaworthy and overworld In order to travel back use seaworthy again to transfer back to shipwrecked Build skyworthy near spawn point next to seaworthy to transfer back to skyworthy in overworld
Wait wait, I don't quite get it. Can't I start a RoG World, travel to Shipwrecked or Hamlet and then travel back to this RoG world? I bought DS recently and I wanted to experience this game to it's fullest, but I also wanted to clear the adventure mode. Am I able to generate a RoG world, play through it normally and eventually get to adventure mode, clear the adventure mode and then explore both shipwrecked and hamlet on the same save file? If it's possible, if I generate a shipwrecked world using the seaworthy in my save file where I already have a RoG world, will I be able to get back to it? Or do I need to generate a new RoG World?
hi... before tarveling between worlds for the first time ... 1. when traveling from DS to hamlet ( or SW), do I "carry" with me inventory, build but not placed structures , learned recepies ? 2. if not.... when returning from hamlet ( or SW) to first world in DS where are all my things from inventory 3. if I die in hamlet world ( or SW) , do I respawn in first world near meat effigy or touch stone? tnx
You keep everything except follower items like the eye-bone (unless you abuse a glitch), pre-crafts will come with you and unfortunately I'm pretty sure you simply lose everything if you die in a world where you don't have any revival mechanics ready.
although doing that: i cant help the feeling that Im cheating. Its just that I dont want to lose progres ( because of some stupid mistake in hamlet) in my original game
Are these new updates to Don't Starve only for shipwrecked? I was under the impression that the update of new boats and the moon isle, etc.. was a DST update, but maybe I'm wrong? Someone please educate me because i'm def trying to play this
I found seaworthy in mobile but however there no use for it you can't shoot it burn it break it or anything ever you can't even target it (i play on mobile)
I don't think there's anything about merms worth a guide, but maybe a guide would prove me wrong. I think they're pretty much useless aside from the fishermen, except to make rot on swamp (when they lose to tentacles) or have some tentacle spots/spikes laying around the map (when they win)
