@@iuryfilho4483 First time i played the game i literally had no idea i could make hats and pick flowers to gain sanity. And didn't know hats restore sanity until way later. Leading to most of my deaths being to a terrorbreak... or a spider.
Fun fact: If you play as Wagstaff through adventure mode. When you return to the nightmare throne after beating adventure mode as Wagstsaff, he's not there anymore.
@@georgecosminpodaru6633 its funny how without context this defintley seems like a random comment made to sound as stupid as possible, and yet is completely factual in reality
Thank you for turning that off. I have been listening to that song for an eternity. (Later,in an alternate demention where you were cruel)Ok. I guess I deserve that.
I listened to this loop on loop. I strapped myself in a black chair. I tied my torso and my hands to it with duct tape. This is what you call authentic, right?
@@agusky lmao I’m surprised that you’re this loyal to the game for playing it for like 7 years or even remembering this game… but let’s be honest it is a really good game… Also getting this track stuck in your head is both a blessing and a curse and you know it
Maxwell isn't a bad guy per say, you try being trapped in the nightmare throne endlessy and not trying to find some people to save you by whatever means necessary
dragontamer1012 maxwell isnt a bad guy, imagine being stuck on a chair forever, without being able to do anything, not play, not being able to eat your favorite food, doing the things you like, etc.
Man, you might start off mad at Maxwell for bringing you to the Constant and making you endure so many hellish challenges, but when you see him bound to the Throne, with nothing to do except listen to this short, repetitive song, you just can’t help but feel bad for the guy. He’s had nothing to do as “king” except create monsters, deceive people and sit in complete darkness, all because he just wanted to be famous.
I think this song is people talking/screaming because everybody is voiced by an instrument. It's disturbing when you think about it. So Maxwell was listening to people talking/screaming for a long time (Eternity?)
The game makes it clear that screaming is discordant in comparison to talking or singing so it’s probably just singing or, you know, people playing instruments
How did he deserve it? He was their slave. The Maxwell that captured Wilson isn't the same Maxwell as the playable character, even if he knows what he did.
I listened to this for 1 hour straight while I was waiting for the new Kerbal DLC to be released. That was 6 months ago, I can hardly believe how fast time went by.
@@skyleradd1485 yea back when no one could understand what it was for and did whatever they want... Now you can't make a joke if it offended one person.
I don't know why or how Maxwell got sick of this song. It's been 4-5 years since I first heard it, and here I am still listening to it about half an hour a day and I am yet to get sick of it. It could be that he actually hears a lot of screaming, as the top comment has suggested since the characters voices are intruments, but I will try not to scar myself too much with that thought.
you've finally done it. you've truly beat maxwell at his own game. you've shown that you have what it takes. that you're a survivor, and nothing he threw at you could take you down. your determination and perseverance to find maxwell, to find a way out, was stronger than any cursed power he holds, and now you're here. right at the feet of the man himself, the man who tricked you into this cursed world in the first place, the man who has made your entire life an insufferable hell, a painful and tiring loop of survival and death, over and over again. you're here. you've won. but look at maxwell. you feel.... almost pitiful for him. he barely looks in a better shape than you do. he's strapped to that throne, unable to turn off the gramaphone that's undoubtedly been screaming the same tune for who knows how long. he looks just about as tired as you. everything he's told you, about how there was nothing when he first showed up but 'Them', about how even a king is bound to the board. despite everything he's done to you, you can't help but feel sorry for him. but now, you hold the power over him. you're both trapped here now, and you hold the power to free him. neither of you will leave until you do what you must. you're at a checkmate now, and you'll be the one making the first move.
So. I have thought of something: Y'all know how all the characters' voices are pretty much instruments... So, it could either just be a bunch of people singing or screaming. Who knows. Maybe half are singing happily at the other half's screaming. Or the otehr way around.
According to the devs, "between zero and zero" sat on the throne before Maxwell so that's technically invalid. Based on the DS Wiki. (I get the joke, I'm just saying).
Wilson for the couple of day in the nightmare throne: Huh this must how the tail guy felt. Willson 30 year later seeing Willow: Hey ma'am ca- can you PLEASE GET ME OUT OF THIS FU-KING CHAIR FOR THE LOVE GOD HELP PLEASE HELP I AM BEGGING YOU.
Remember the days when Don't Starve was much simpler with few crafting recipes, little learning experience required for life expectancy, and only TWO stats to worry about; people leisured for hundreds of days with nothing but boredom after figuring out everything...a new thing added is always exciting because you get to dust off old gear and test your survival...unless you got over a hundred meat effigies from some Beta glitch.
To make Adventure mode more re-playable, they should add rewards and new challenges for completing it based on character (completing Adventure as Wilson gives you a cosmetic that makes all animals have Wilson's hair, and will add a new feature where you can find Wilson statues that drop nightmare fuel and beard hair but reduces sanity and summons bishops)
