In this video, we'll be covering 8 situations where the Brightshade Staff is a really powerful weapon to have. On it's own, the staff doesn't deal all that much damage, but combined with other items and in the right moment, the staff becomes the best item you could ever ask for. Ancient Fuelweaver, Armored Bearger, Pirate Monkey raids... all of those will whimp at your sight with the staff!
For how cheap it is to repair it, I highly recommend you'd keep one in your inventory. Not only is it good against the enemies shown in this video, but it can come in handy in a day to day scenario. Don't have a plan for a incoming hound wave? The staff can take care of that easily. You're chassing a mob that keeps running away from you, aka krampus or a koalefant? Now you have a range weapon to get their aggro way easily.

Beautiful example as to how you can make a 10 minute long video captivating with actual sustenance to it. You do such an amazing job at balancing being informative while also being creative; something that feels like is "either/or" from this community. Every bit of this video is gorgeous. Honestly, with the ingenuity of the ideas you're presenting, along with the nice set pieces you made for this video (like with the ink blight trio demonstration), it's such a shame this channel isn't as popular as it should be, because this is (imo) Don Gianni level content. Keep it up!

It's a really satisfying synergie! I showcase this effect at 04:13 in this video, if you meant the brambleshade armor though, then yes this is definitely an upgrade to what I showcased.

For the unnatural portal I just use two gunpowder and blow up the docks directly below the portal, the monkey spawns but immediately falls into the water below leaving you to be able to collect the resources in peace. I saw it in on a stream and have loved it ever since! The streamer called it the shame hole lol 😂

Great vid! Gave me some neat ideas on how to use one of my favorite items in the game. I used the brightshade trap this one time to defeat the Bee Queen. I believe I used 3 separate traps of 3 brightshades each to beat her. It was actually a pretty fun fight! 😃

I think crown is a better option to kill brightshades. With sanity food, you use only half of the staff durabilty to kill all the infest of brightshades.

Oh if you intend on killing the brightshade, the crown is indeed better. It would be a waste of ressources to use the helmet instead. What I was showcasing though was that by using the staff you can trigger a trap to kill other mobs!
