Something I noticed about Walter in particular is that he doesn't really seem to understand that he's stuck in the constant. He always just refers to it as a "woods" and in this animation he looks at his map like he's trying to find the way back. he literally think he's just lost in some wacky woods,,,,,, i could imagine the other characters being like "do..... do we tell him"

Maybe the shadows were stuck in the radio, I mean radio are boxes, and boxes are way darker than any corner or crevice.. So maybe by unlocking the radio the shadows got free?

I just noticed this. Notice how Woby is more cowardly and Walter is fearless. Walter almost got crushed by deerclops for not having any fear, but Woby helped Walter escaped. Woby needs Walter for comfort when he is scared. It goes to show we need bravery AND fear.

He's a DST character, so this is after Maxwell is dethroned. Maxwell making deals was likely so that he could justify to himself that the people getting pulled into the constant asked for it, or deserved it in some way.

God I love all the details put into Walters character! as a scout myself, I really enjoyed that he outstretched his left hand to shake wobys paw, which is typically done in scouts Canada and possibly boy scouts (or maybe hes just left handed). his shirt color roughly matches the pre 2011 design of the cubs uniform which means that Walter is somewhere between eight and ten although his shirt isn't button up. Of course klei is a Canadian company which helps confirm the details a little more too!

I've got to say, of the children is teen characters Walter seems the most innocent and optimistic. In a time where most protagonists are shown as brooding, depressed, or narcissistic, it is nice to see a character that shines, has self confidence that isnt really conditional but inherent.

Saiavinn My take on this is either that Walter just arrived in the constant to join our survivors against Charlie, or he was trapped there by Maxwell while he was still on the nightmare throne (since the radio plays ragtime, which we only hear when interacting with Maxwell at the end of adventure mode), and the moon looked like that from the start (notice the crack through the center of the moon) But then again, I could be very wrong with this, it’s just a theory after all

Not much, not. But we do know that Woodie must be one heck of a recluse. Aside from his being the only cabin on the map, the place had cobwebs everywhere ...but Walter (so presumably no one in town) knew he’d been gone.

I love Klei Entertainment so much, you guys never fail to amaze me from the animated stories you make of DST, As someone with limited budget I came across DST, such a wonderful well made game, I love every bit of it that during the first week when I got the game I spent about 100 hours on it, spent every bit of my mobile data to download it and I am forever grateful to you guys for making such a great game, I got it as a gift from my girlfriend during our 7 months anniversary! thank you so much
