Some tips you guys have probably heard before but just in case... 1. Don't pick flowers unless you need sanity, they spawn butterflies that when eaten give a good amount of health and hunger- If you have trouble hitting them press ctrl+f for auto attack 2. You should usually base at around beefalo, group of pigs, or pig king. They will provide protection from hounds or other aggressive mobs. But do not base too close in the event of a full moon or winter/spring. 3. You should pick any and all resources nearby and any you pass so you can let them grow again. 4. If you can't find any beefalo to shave for the future, you can at lease get poop from them by feeding things like petals to them. 5. 1 of any kind meat and 3 fillers in a crock pot will create meatballs which are a great and easy source of food. 6. Shouldn't cut tress unless they are fully grown for more wood and acorns. 7. Its too late but you probably shouldn't open sinkholes. 8. Engineer is probably only good for his ability to make a fairly cheap helmet, but Wigfrid trumps that. Also, all of the engineer's buildings are very expensive to build. 9. Wigfrid should make helmets and spears for everyone. (and Maxwell is a better fighter) 10. I personally like to have a backpack and a torch on me at all times, easier but optional. 11. Never cook food unless a. you are planning at eating them immediately or b. they are going to spoil. Food rots faster when cooked. 12. For your base, you can gather twigs, grass, and berry bushes with a shovel to plant near your base. You have to fertilize the bushes and grass for them to start producing items. Everything listed is completely optional and is just what I thought would help. Have fun and i hope to see more!

Today's tip: killing gobblers. Harvest a berry, it spawns a gobbler (10% chance IIRC). Drop a berry on the ground and step away from it about two body lengths. The gobbler will go into a zombie trance and walk slowly towards the berry, just attack it and kill it. No chasing, very quick, you don't lose the drumsticks in the ocean. You always have a berry since you just harvested one.
I'm fairly new to the channel, and I'm honestly very impressed with the content. I found y'all by searching for don't starve gameplay, and planned on only watching a few minutes to decide whether or not to buy the game, and now here I am starting season 2, a few hours later in the same day
Yes! Thank you for not giving up on Wigfrid. The big thing she was missing the previous season was fighting mobs. With the battle helm and just a bit of practice, even taking a few bites from the spiders, it's easy to keep health and sanity always at or near max. Wigfrid is a lot of fun even if you can't eat a lot of really useful foods. Just get 30-40 drying racks ASAP!
It's so weird to see people start building their base on day 1, but I guess everyone has their own playstyle. I never build a base until I've outlined the whole map (minus the swamp and desert).
I got a little triggered when near the end of the episode, Rik started chopping down small trees that Jas had planted when he could have waited til morning to go to the forest.
Tips for beginners: 1. Pick flowers and make garlands for early game sanity. Cooked green mushrooms give lots of sanity, too. 2. Make your base by beefaloo; the manure is great for farming 3. Stockpile wood and stone to make fires and heat-stones in winter. Plant pine cones near your fire pit so you can get wood easily. 4. Burn a forest to get lots of ash and charcoal. Use charcoal to make crock pots. Save ash to make healing items. 5. Make an 'armory' by your base and supply it with wood armor and spears. Otherwise, use a backpack (made from wheat) for extra carry capacity. Hoped that helped :)
just got dont starve together today! i noticed i could get it for $4.74 through the intrepid explorers pack (i already own oxygen not included) hopefully ill learn more about the game watching yall! i finished season 1 and can't wait to catch up to season 4!
Having watched the endings of 4.5 seasons, I have decided that season 2 is logically the best season to watch, as they last over a year and die to a fuck ton of hounds....
Peter Herbert Wx-78 can be easily handled without her, but with a full "The End is Nigh!"book, Wx-78 can be System Overcharge for 90 days...As for Wigfrid...Her downside overweighs her upsides...And in DST, is mostly used for her helmet and spear...
Queron81 while it is true Jas is the most experienced of the four, and could potentially use her to the best of her ability....If she wanted a hard hitter, she coulda' been Wolfgang...Mighty form is stronger than Wigfrid, and is a great tanker. While you can argue about his x2 hunger consumption,or extra sanity lost in battle Aura, you learned from last season that they try to stay away from combat, and there first big battle would be the Deerclops, which is more than enough time to get the tophat, or better, the mactusk cap
i'm really glad that you guys decided to play this again. This game is hard, indeed, but with proper knowledge, one will have a better experience and fun with the game... and Ash, i like your decision to play as Engineer. That's so you xD

Seems like you found the ruins you can find: bosses, Bunny Houses to make bunny guards (be careful once you break a house bunnies are angry) Also Bunny attacks bats
the white bepper it's not just you. There are people I see all the time, which is CRAZY considering how many people there are on youtube. RU-vid algorithms are the main cause of this, I believe. They push like minded people toward similar content
They should really start tracking down those koalaphants. Those suspicious dirt piles will most likely lead to them and they provide a good supply of meat when killed. Not to mention the fact that they drop koalaphant trunks that you can use to make jackets for winter.
I just recently subscribed you guys and I've watched the DST videos from before, just wanna say you have great videos guys, I love it ! And I have to say honestly, you have found a super good base location this time!
Price just so you know if you don't already if your wood meter gets low enough you turn into a giant beaver which is really good in combat but lowers your sanity a whole lot
Guys, use sticks as filler. Seriously, for meatballs you just need 1 monster meat, 1 veggie, and 2 sticks. Try it. Also, butterflies spawn from flowers so catch a bunch and plant a flower garden to make a butterfly farm and kill them for the wings which restore health and can be used to make butter muffins which is a good health item. Next make A beehive and place it next to the flowers to get tons of honey (which gives sanity and can be used to make taffy for two honey and two sticks I think).
I will just ignore the char mod as much as I can because I really liked u guys from first season (and I already saw that season 3 have some other char mod anyway...) Hope it won't affect the balance of the game so you can play fair and still have fun.

There's an unlikely chance of 7.104% of you seeing this ash/jas/rik/price but the clothes some of them you can sell for real money or unravel them for spools to buy characters or something
