@@1998marijn1998 do Then you sell 2/2 and buy 2/1 After doing the math, if you go for 50/50 instead of 33/67 you lose on average .6 attack and .1 health AND in the worst case scenario you only freeze 1 minion so you have higher chances for getting an early tripple
Kind of dumb how poison murlocs just beats everything after a certain point. Doesn't matter how good your strat is, a 1/1 divine poison murloc always gonna beat it.
Mistake at 1:02, if you hero powered first it was a 66.6% chance to get the tidehunter, then you could sell the token and buy. Instead you got a 50%, how do they make a stupid mistake that early, lucky they hit it
Eh, hero power first is definitely better on average, not sure it makes much difference though. Best case is both murlocs (3 units), medium case is murloc and demon guy (2 units), worst case is demon guy which you would sell to get one murloc (2 units). Hero power first is 66% best case, 0% medium case, 33% worst case. Hero power second is 50% best case, 50% medium case, 0% worst case. Assuming that leveling is better than both medium and worst case, hero power first is better 16% of the time. In the end the difference is probably something like 1 gold and maybe 2-3 damage.
hero powering first is: the exact same in 1/2 of all cases. Better in 1/6 of all cases. Worse in 1/3 of all cases. I was thinking about it as well, but it really doesn't pan out. Especially once you start to consider that heropowering the wrath weaver puts you into a really bad position. Basically your average outcomes are better when not heropowering first and your worst outcome is better as well. So you reduce the amount of RNG and skew RNG in your favour at the same time.
Anyone else feeling like Poisonous is just too strong of a keyword in Battlegrounds. I mean I can go a Brann-Battlemaster 48 atk 300 health creature just to die because toxfin is so common. I'm thinking Toxfin will be removed after a certain point relying solely on Gentle to give it to them. It's just too powerful of a build as it's almost all you can go to get first.
Poisonous is required because of the absurd sizes minions can get to so it's creating narrow game play they can't get rid of it unless they fix health.
@@TheNewton It should be made more scarce. Like mostly to maexna and other such things. Im just saying you should be rewarded for going big going for Brann going for large plays. Because of the ready abundance of poison demons will always be bottom tier simply because of their lack of it. If Toxfin were gone and you actually had to work for poison things could actually come down to stats rather than who got more infinite atk poison creatures.
@@androidsychoshocker it already is scarce though and look how abusive it still is especially the hunting bran lets you do. For battlegrounds and hearthstone what they need to do is stick to the rule of two for everything including buffs. Limit the amount of buffs minions can take or at least make it so a 1 star minion cannot become a 40/40 without harsh diminishing returns. RIght now it's just bad game mechanics that let high rollers keep rolling high.
@@Ungeziemt That's why they have Mega. It's possible to get a full board of poison but it's something you go for not just get 3 murlocs get 3 toxfins win most exchanges late game as they all have infinite attack.
I don't think so. Zalae mentions going to 5 for Junkbot at about 16:50. I'm not sure what Firebat's "staying at 4 for mechs" thing is either, aside from trolling.
@@Falnky you stay at 4 for mechs because all the important mechs are at 4. The only thing higher is junkbot, but junkbot isn't important for most mech comps
Flanky mechs are still very tier 4 because you want to hit replicating menaces and modules before you even put in a junkbot anyway since junkbot is actually pretty underwhelming until you triple it anyways and isn’t worth tiering up just for the chance to hit it when the tavern cost is still expensive, you usually want to tier up whenever you can triple a unit since mechs have very playable 6 costs but until then it’s just better to have the highest odds of actually improving your board by having access to all the important mechs and not introducing a bunch of dead cards into the pool. junkbot is just a finisher that sometimes happens now but mechs still do just fine without a single one since cobalt guardian is the real reason why mechs are strong.
