What is the salary of an Oral maxillofacial surgeon(MDS) after a fellowship in head and neck oncology in pvt hospitals. Can you please let me know this cuz my parents won't let me join the course (MDS) 2) are they paid equal to ENT's in PVThospitals?

@@dbkandy9907 per month my uncle is oral surgeon and he has 2 clinics in mumbai he arns around 20-25 lakh per month but its also very difficult to become an oral surgeon there is very high competition and also this kind of money only comes when you are skilled and have a private clinic in a tier 1 city like delhi mumbai or bangalore

No Dr Ananya ! Not every BDS graduate have this feeling that they were not able to do mbbs that's why you should pursue oral surgery. This is your regret that made you say this statement.Been a medical doctor is another thing and been dentist is a another thing. I don't get it why dentist like you think inferior of MBBS doc and you think like that you need to do masters in oral surgery to get in par with medical doc! Really dissapointed with your view point.

No u can't say that.. Oral surgeons stand at par with mbbs. Both of them are surgeons with same wavelength. You mustnt say oral surgeons are different from medical doctors. That is atmost blunder.

That's not true...there r pathways a maxillofacial surgeon needs to take for getting a fellowship in HNO....do search for centres n essential do's that a maxillofacial surgeon needs to qualify for FHNO
