What I appreciate is that she actually has her guitar volume at a level to let the audience hear her playing over the track and she is not hiding in the mix. Great Job Sakura!
@Jerrol Hale I don't think so. There have been Japanese hard rock bands trying to make it since the late 70's like "Loudness". Only the English, USA and Australia, New Zealand and Canada can make worthwhile rock music. English is the only language that sounds right in rock music.
@Eros Delorenzi Yes, Asians are great at appropriating and copying. Just look at companies like Samsung in Korea, and China, the land of cheap knock-offs. Even the guitars are basically copies of Fender and Gibson.
Its cool to see these young kids into the music i was into in the 80s as a kid. I knew the stuff we were hearing on the radio on any given night in the 80s, was special. I feel sorry for todays music.
I recently bought tickets to see Night Ranger in Fort Worth, TX on 1/7/22. When looking for "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" on RU-vid, I had a blessing come into my day by discovering Sakura. I've now watched a few of her videos and I'm hooked. She's amazing. I'll be rocking many more of her videos over the coming weeks. Absolutely incredible guitar talent.
As a bass player I'd play in a band with this girl any day. She's a raw player. Doesn't need a whammy bar to get the tricks done. She improvised perfectly. Great job, stick with it and enjoy the love of music.
Awesome job 😄When I was young I saw Night Ranger Live and was always blown away by both guitar players as well as the singer , this solo is insane it was right up there with evh , RandyRhoads etc great job ty.
Even Jeff Watson says he has difficulty playing that solo. I would love to see an interview with her rating the difficulty levels of the songs she knows.
This girl amazes me. She was some wicked talent. I know how talented the young girls in Japan are but this one stands above a golden cast of young guitar artists. She's going to be a star.
My all time favorite guitar solo to play. I left a band once because they wouldn't play this song. I hate that most guitarists don't learn solos note-4-note. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Flying V and mirror pickguard. I didn't know Washburn made a V. Excellent job!
I could watch this shit all damned day! I LOVE IT!!! Never, in my most herion-soaked nightmares, whilst sharing stages with Alice in Chains, and many other Seattle alumni, did I imagine that I would be in my 50's, watching this Japanese girl shred to my favorite metal songs! Bravo! Your playing is a joy to listen to and your guitar sound just crushes it! Arigato! Arigato!
You ain't the only one dude! I expected to die some 20 years ago, yet I'm 52 and done on stage, but I got the battle scars to prove it! Miss it every day i breath, but can't go back.
heavy metal lives on . not at its former glory but its alive , these's hope in this younger generation as you can see with this badass girl . shoutout from chicago ✌🏼🤟🏼
Hey, I'm all to familiar with heroin soaked nights here in Seattle. I live here in Pill Hill, 9th and Jefferson, by Harborview Medical Center. I've got to get to sleep as I've got an appointment at Evergreen Treatment Center in the morning. Yeah, this girl is awesome.
Your timing on the fast lead is right on. I love how you start clipping during your lead. It looks like you do it best on pinky strikes. I’ve been playing for 40 years but I sound like a child compared to you. Great work.
Brad Gillis is one of the best guitar players to ever exist. And Night Ranger has so many kick ass songs. I love this girl. Always choosing great songs to do. Awesome.
This is Awesome and it brings me back the days of MTV music videos of the 80's when the network played rock videos and metal videos too and the music changed all the sudden and it's not same anymore because I grew up in the MTV era when I was younger and now I'm almost 44 years old
Wow you are an amazing guitar player. You rock more than any one I have ever seen or heard. Impeccable timing and rhythm. Love 💕 your guitar. Keep on rocking in the free❓world 🌍❗️ Awesome 👏 times infinity!
If you would've told me, back in the 80's, that the best metal shredders in 2019 would be Asian ladies......I would have been very confused ... Nothing sexist, I really respect the talent here on display!!!!
