I so love sewing. To me it is a form of meditation and expression, working with beautiful textiles. It's never a form of stress, unless I don't set boundaries with myself and others. I refuse to allow myself or others take this pleasure away from me. It is healthy for me physically, because my hands stay active, mentally, and spiritually. I feel closer to God when I am creating.. that is my "God of my own understanding". I am 72 with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and continue to sew, EVEN THOUGH!
