Don't Throw Out Your Christmas Candy Wrappers! 🖤 Make Junk Journal Ephemera 🖤 Chocolate Package DIY 

I absolutely love your use of things and protection of the environment. I know of no one who does this to the extent you do. What is so great is that these will one day be vintage and so appreciated to those we leave behind. That’s why in journals for myself I like to collect little seemingly unimportant tidbits like receipts from restaurants, grocery stores, etc., lists of what I am reading, fashion tidbits, etc. so those who have or find them will have an understanding via the “little” things what life was like. It is also why I love holding onto the times before me by using ephemera I have found from times before me. ❤️

Hi Helen: Your journaling tags are classic! No better place to put them than in a journal. Lots of nostalgia flipping through that journal years from now. It’s like a time machine, but in a book. Very clever and creative. 💜😎🇺🇸

Clever clever to make tags out of wrappers.I hadn't thought of that. Love how these turned out. Sometimes I'll put packaging in my journal in the form of a page tab or just glue it in on a page. I think it's a history of our day to day lives of what we ate, tried, loved or didn't love in the food world. I've glued in pasta packaging, my favorite vanilla bean scone package or a label from a can. We have a brand of olives in the US called Lindsay (which is my daughter's name). I've made a mini notebook out of the label which turned out cute. We also have a grocery store here in California called Trader Joe's and their artwork on their packaging is amazing - very art worthy! Thank you Helen for this very nifty idea.

Love these! I save soap wrappers, paper sachets, cologne sample cards and use them in my journals. The plus is they made them smell good 🧼😊

I throw my wrappers away in complete shame at my lack of self control!!! 😂
