Wow, a blast from the past. This takes you back for a moment. To be alive right now is a super blessing. Cassette tapes, Radio Shack mixers, vinyl, walkmans, etc. Memories. The song & video is dope. Luv how Esham was getting down dancing. U can tell by the end of the video when he turned around he had enough of all that dancin 😂 Great Video 📹 Legendary
Esham has always been my favorite rapper. From his first song to his new shit he's ALWAYS been fucking dope. He's skilled, like it comes natural to him.
Its crazy to see just how far beyond the 90's rap scene you actually were at the time. Happy anniversary E. BWFH will always be a straight classic to real music fans.
Jesse Nichols I had my radio and Red Tape stolen out my car from the Grand River & Meyers area back in the day. Matter of fact, I had the OG Boomin' Words tape stolen at least 3 times from different cars. I used to buy them from the Rock of Ages in Dearborn Heights. Can't find those tapes anywhere now!
I definitely love esham he been doing his thing for years what are y'all think Eminem get his rhyme style from this man right here anybody who disagree you don't know anything about music until you hear this man right here big up to esham what a legend God bless peace out
Good shit right there. I said this time & time again. I wish E would take his vocal delivery back to the old skool days like his old Boomin & Closed Casket days
I remember this,I thought it was 1990 though.Oh well,Eshams still the shizz. This was before rock of ages on ford rd. days wasn't it? Thumbs up to Esham! Some mo wicked shit. Underground legend right here..
That's just like big daddy Kane, Jay z, was dancing but raps was trouble, but look at the game now, u see that shit. Niggas can't dance but esham I like it. And that rest my book, u are a kool brother. But to dam smart at a young age. Power. Teamlord used to wish he was down.
Incredible!!! Yeah thanks E, shit was raw and good film at that time.. feeling cursed very well now thankyou..and dem hoes from the video was crazy yo, you waz doin it hard and raw man, man you still got em' my nigga!!! "ESHAM-GOES-HARDER!" AND ALL I COULSD SAY WAS WOW.......NATAS MOTHAFUCKAZ!!!
This was most likely never aired. If it was it definitely wasn't on either of those. Maybe in a local Detroit TV program but I doubt that too. Radio & TV didn't fuck with him cause of the satanic aspect of his music.
What do you mean? Like on a cd? Don't Trip was only on the original Boomin tapes. There were 3 versions: OG red tape no barcode, then there was a red tape with the barcode & lastly there was a clear tape that also shared the OG Boomin cover. In 92 he re-released the cassette and dropped it on CD and vinyl, all with new album artwork(flames behind a picture of him.) Only those first 3 cassettes contained this song. That was until he re-re-released it for the 25th anniversary a few years ago on CD. Remastered with OG artwork and he hand signed every copy. In total there are 5 different cassette pressings, 3 CD pressings and one on vinyl. I have the vinyl, all 3 cd's, the og no barcode tape and the TVT cassette. Still hunting for the rest of them.
@@rubendominguez5260 Yes they aren't exactly the same. This version is not on any release at all, just this video. Here's what I did...download a RU-vid audio extractor. It's very simple, copy and paste the link and the extractor will pull the audio from this video. Then you can have the "video" version in audio format.
Ilovelasvegas Nevada I was like 14 when I commented this... my opinion has changed. More of a R&B kinda guy. So, you have your opinions although I couldn't really understand it, and I have mine. But I don't think like that anymore.
