Funny how they don't regulate casinos the same way they do trading. No-one gives a damn about the customer when the "house" has the edge.

very informative video sir .. plz also explain the fees associated wth the leverage and how it is calculated ... and one question please- does Stop Loss hit automatically or it may use spare money in the account or other trades(by closing them) to keep the trade alive?

This was confusing and didn't really help. When traders place trades they have a predetermined stoploss and risk percent. What leverage does in this scenario is it determines the margin requirements for your trade and also it limits the trade size across all your positions. Leverage is good ... you control risk by using appropriate stoploss and risk percent (1%) ... having high leverage allows you to open trades using those safe risk parameters that you otherwise would not be able to open due to trade size limit and insufficient margin.

That's why one should watch multiple videos, from channels they trust, on both leverage, & risk management. Then, incorporate any devised methodology into your rules of strategic trading. This is from a beginner. I'm doing my research, at the frontend, before I even begin live trading; as I want to do everything to minimise becoming one of the 95%, who fail.

i am so sad what we retail traders cant not use what we want leverage I trade now over 5 years and i need leverge we need to introduce leverage to new traders not to all traders if you have experience 2 years you can choose your own leverge is (IS MY MONEY MY RISK)

Leverage is not a problem when it comes to trading , instead you should be aware of your Lots size.

yeah , leverage only affects free margin.

idk it’s just an example it doesn’t matter how big is your leverage 1:500 or 1:1 if you’ll be trading in full Lot sizes like 1Lot or 2Lots you can blow your account pretty quick in other hand what leverage allows you to open more positions especially if you’ve got smaller account, but again more positions can lead to bigger loses or of course bigger winners if you’re lucky enough, so as someone said leverage is double edged sword. It’s just my humble opinion.

idk I completely agree with you that leverage lot sizes and margin goes hand in hand what I meant that if you keep your lot sizes small it doesn’t really matter how big leverage you are using after all the most important thing in trading to protect your account and stay in this game as long as possible .

I think that, the leverage good thing, different just the margin. Who is a looser, in the markets, it doesn't matter if there is leverage, or not.

thats assuming people go allin every trade if someone do that they shouldnt be trading anyway for them the result will always be the same in the end

Just because you have 1:500 leverage doesnt mean you have to use it all on one trade. If you know how to use it, leverage allows you to build into a position in the market much like the big institutions do.
