I love this food. In Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia we call this lemang. It is glutinous rice mix with coconut milk and a pinch of salt to be cooked inside the bamboo with a special leaves in it. When the lemang is cooked, we usually eat with rendang - a spicy beef gravy. Usually we eat this during our festive season like Eid Mubarak. But now lemang can be eaten anytime

idk about other people but the way how i learned in my school is to try to reserve the ingredients to use whatever each ingredients offer to make something else. when i see all that coconut water just being wasted it hurts my soul. its like someone deboning a chicken and throw away the bones....dood..you make soup with that.. i can't watch this any longer. 😒
