Bro u got misinformation actually Reang or Bru community are not Refugee..They are belongs to our Tripuri Community only not from Burma...The fact is in back 1976 that time some Bengali political leaders without any information to the local or villagers The Dumbur hydroelectric project was installed which is near Amarpur & their homes, lands etc were vandalised & many people died... At least 30,000 Reang people were they ran away towards Mizoram & live there in Mizoram till 1997(1976-1997)Almost 21 year ... Mizo and Bru between clashes with the majority Mizos in 1995, there was a demand for the removal of the Brus, perceived to be non-indigenous, from Mizoram’s electoral rolls. This resulted in an armed movement by a Bru outfit.In 1997 They send back to Tripura again & After 23 year (1997-2020) in 2020 they got Ressetlement officially in Tripura from the our Home minister Amit Shah... by the help of Maharaja Of Tripura- Pradyut Kishore Manikya Debbarma. This is the History bro. Thank you.
