One of the most common things people do to help their snow blowers perform better throughout the course of the winter is to apply PAM to the blades, under-carriage, and the discharge chute but in this video I explain how this is not helping the cause and is likely causing the removal of snow to be even harder and less efficient.

For places that regularly get below 10 degrees through the winter then I suggest the following DuPont cold weather lubricant for snowblowers as it will remain slippery and viscous even in very cold outdoor conditions.
