Asylum seekers in Ireland are enraged over a plan to move them back to Northern Ireland, as a huge “tent city” has taken over the streets of Dublin outside its immigration processing centre. Startling new pictures reveal a pop-up community lining Dublin’s streets, with British and Irish ministers facing off in a row over migration that is threatening to escalate.

It's a case of - we want asylum but in a country we choose. They should be grateful to be offered the safety of Rwanda if they are genuine asylum seekers, which, clearly, they are not.

Watch the interviews with them, granted there isn't many as they are shielded from giving them as governments don't want you to know your getting screwed.

@@RazorMouth Cop on. I've seen video of some saying that they came from UK for fear of being sent to Rwanda. That idiot McEntee is even sending gardai to try and deal with her lack of competence in letting them flood in. Now if you're genuine asylum seekers, you'll be happy to be given refuge in any safe country. But they want asylum on their terms. Also, thousands have boarded flights to Ireland with passports but mysteriously lost them before disembarkation. Not the behaviour of genuine asylum seekers. If we look at Africa alone, it contains 54 countries. Why did they not seek safety in one of those? Instead they travel thousands of miles to our small country. Why? Financial gain. There are far too many illegal economic migrants among them.

Don't worry as soon as they got their residence they'll follow in their hundreds. One guy in accommodation in the uk was on television news last week. He claimed the wi fi wasn't very good and they needed it to tell their families how they were getting on with their applications.

The Eu were deliberately awkward during the Brexit negotiations. They insisted on no border between Northern Ireland and the Republic with the intention of keeping the North bound to the Eu with regulations etc. They did not consider the law of unintended consequences and now they don't like what has happened and want to move the goalposts. France has refused to accept returned illegal migrants but the Eu expect the UK to accept their illegal migrants. Seems like a case of double standards.

Asylum seekers request refuge with validation of their claims, these economic migrants should not have entered illegaly to take what NGOs and smugglers offered them, without our consent.

They can send African or other black community asylum seekers to Rwanda, so when they are there they will find it easy to get along with people, get work permit and live. other white asylum seekers they can send them to Mauritius, as Mauritius is half French land so they will feel SAFE there, they can get job-work permit and live there. UK government should help these asylum seekers get work permit/job (CSR /TSR jobs) too to the country they are sending, they can get a contract singed with some company to give them jobs for 5 years after that they can figure out where to move or stay there if they like it there. A few days of hotel stay will not help them.

I am voting Indie here in Ireland. None of the parties are worth a fig. There will be a lot of Indies this time. Will screw that lot right up. For every one of us marching. There are twenty or more at home afraid to march. The Govt's last spiteful kick in the guts to its people is to opt in to the new EU migration pact when we have an opt out. Only Ireland and Denmark have an opt out (due to previous treaties). Other EU member states have no say in the matter. Denmark are opting out. Once we opt in. That's it. A new Govt. can't change it. Coverage of Monday's march?? Our own media hardly covered it. And the little coverage we got downplayed it. The Irish Times said there were only hundreds at the march. 😂😂

Sending them to Universal Control site, jointly funded by counties impacted by these illegal arrivals appear to be among best deterrent. Cost for eahch country is cut. Rwanda (Uk plan) , nauru (Australia is still doing that) alone cost too much for UK/Australia. This will get rid of this problem in big ways, cut deaths at sea. All countries can send to this universal control site. govt should work out universal site to stop them wasting all politician time. work on security and other specs, costing, etc. the minute illegals arrive, they are sent to the Universla palce for processing etc. they remain there for a certian period before they are free to leave the place. smuggler stay for 10 years
