The FE is honestly quite perfect for just about anything and everything ive thrown at it. I'm impressed and happy with my purchase. Especially from upgrading from the Tab S6 Lite.
Hey man, small question: I've had the S6 Lite and I wasn't happy with the screen quality. The colors felt a bit dull and the viewing angles weren't that great. Has that aspect improved with the 7 FE in your opinion?
@@ErykDante on Tab s6 lite (2021) has Exynos 9611 (10nm), While Tab s7 fe has: Qualcomm SM7225 Snapdragon 750G 5G (8 nm) - 5G model, Qualcomm SM7325 Snapdragon 778G 5G (6 nm) - Wi-Fi model, There for: Small semiconductors provide better performance and reduced power consumption. Chipsets with a higher number of transistors, semiconductor components of electronic devices, offer more computational power. A small form factor allows more transistors to fit on a chip, therefore increasing its performance.
I just bought the 7 fe coming from a tab s 4. I'm giving the s4 to my son. As I compared the cameras on my 7FE and my tab S4 I was so disappointed. The screen on my 4 looks better than this one. Even though this one is newer I feel like I'm downgrading a little bit. I'm considering just taking the FE back and going in for the S8 plus just so I can have peace of mind. I don't like feeling like I'm settling.
Thanks for covering this. Got a great deal on the s7 just before hearing about the s8 dropping and felt instant fomo but couldn't find a breakdown comparing the two. I feel good about the deal I got now.
Appreciate the comparison. I just got the S7 FE from Verizon and needed something for on the go for college. Seeing the specs on S8 doesn't have me back down to my final decision. I don't see much of a big difference other than the small upgrades, and the continuous support the S8 will have longer than the S7. As long as I can be in college and focus on my college work while I'm on the go is perfect enough for me. Specs is more for hardware individuals that are looking for that extra satisfaction, which isn't an issue for me. Ill be satisfied witu the S7 FE 5G version. 👍 Thanks for this video.
I bought my tab Fe and the display is beautiful. I just Hate how lagy the device is . If I use "hey Google " or pull up the keyboard, there is a 2 or 3 second delay everything. I wish I had spent that extra money.
Tmobile is offering the FE 5G 64gb for $334 vs the 8+ 5G for $899, almost 3 times the price. Debating if it's worth the price difference if I'm only using it for streaming videos and web browsing, and mostly as a second or third device, as I'm usually on my desktop PC.
Since I was going to be stuck with this tablet for 2 years due to the 5g contract, I decided to return the FE 5g and pay the $560 difference for the 8+ 5g. I got to the FE yesterday, and love the form factor and utility of the device, but me being a techy and wanting to future proof myself for at least 2 years, it would have ate at me too much not having all the bells and whistles for that long of a period.
S7 FE is on Android 11, receives 3 years of software support so it'll make it to Android 14. S8+ is on Android 12 and receives 4 years of software support, 5 years of security updates
I still have my S4 too, and T-mobile just sent me a free S7 fe because when they took over Sprint they had to age-out some devices. The S7 fe is great, and I especially like drawing on it, but I still use the S4 on WiFi for gaming and streaming video as it performs a bit better and has better graphics. (COD Mobile is much faster on S4).
get the tab s7 or s7+ and not the fe if cost is a matter to you, keep in find you are losing software support very soon whereas tab s8+ promises 4 years of major os and 5 years of security date. Tab s7 and s7+ will be unsupported next year vs s8 series till 2026
@@leeallenbeal ofc it is but I'm saying for those on a budget or don't want to spend much getting the s7/s7+ is the better opition and asides from long javity support your getting the same features and the same design.
I bought the tab s7fe for 250 but just traded it In for 628 more for the tab s8 plus. I'm not disappointed. Torn spending that much more but it's so much snappier
@@FishBeeProductions I'm a beginner in video editing and I'm trying to learn it that's why ! but what about S8 + ?? Is it good for video editing and graphic designing ??
@@dela_v8227 was it worth the upgrade? I got the s7fe 4/64 for 260.00. I can trade it in and pay 329 for the tab s8+ is that worth it? I mostly watch media
The Tab S7FE is being sold for 750 CAD at my local best buy for the 128GB model. This should be a crime. I got my S7FE for 235 CAD back in December as an open box product. Then got my S7 for $530 CAD in January. Unless you can find the S7FE for under 350 bucks, don't bother in 2022. Just my 2 cents. In 2022 I would definitely look for a Tab S7+, they get pretty cheap now and are powerful machines, really not missing out on much compared to the S8+.
i considered buying s7 fe until i read about the support for these devices, is 4 years of s8 plus support matter that much ? s7 fe only has 2 years of support now.
What happened to the s7 plus? I was sold on that particular one because of the oled screen and size of the screen for my digital and motion art and I went to go and purchase and it's not available anymore! Back to square one again lol
On the FE I would be more interested if they got rid of the rear camera and gave a fingerprint scanner/128G/6G ram standard. Then it would be more on par as a great upper mid range.
I've had a half dozen + tablets and have probably used the cameras 5 times. I have a new phone with a better camera than any tablet, and I can easily transfer images between devices, so why would I want an inferior camera on my tablet? Jusy my op.
I bought the FE 5G from Verizon. It was $700 overall. I honestly didn't feel as that the Tab S8 + upgrades were NOT sufficient enough to justify the extra $400. I mainly use it for streaming apps & it works great. no lags or crashes. Works exactly for what I bought it for
my tabs8plus came already however the powerbank which i bought from credit was delayed again. however its odd that samsung giving me option to keep it or they will automatically cancel it if its delayed for longer time. i mean since its free looks like they dont want to send it anymore. better option wouldve been pick another item to use credit. them automatically cancelling it without giving back the credits used was fishy. smh
advising everyone who is underestimating the Tab S7 FE... dont!! whatever you think it is its much better, it will impress you! get your hands on one, trust me you wont regret it
I just went to the samsung store earlier and inquire about this 2 tabs. S7 FE priced at 39900php = $799 while S8+ is at about 60kphp = $1100-1200. Scam.
s8 will get longer software updates so if you have the money, its better overall. But the S7 fe is bigger, cheaper, comes with s pen and still is pretty good for most people if you want to save money.
Samsung has the best deal I've seen on this tablet...just got it today for 249.00 ...they gave me 200 bucks for an old 2019 tab A 10.1 model...got the tablet and a free case for 262.00 shipped
@@FishBeeProductions so for 628 more I got the tab s8 plus and the oled screen Is beautiful. It's much faster. Part of me is considering keeping the s7fe because of the price difference but I dunno I'm torn. It's also alot thinner and lighter. Truth be told though some images look better on the s7fe
The tab s7 fe didn't come with the same spen as the tav s8+. The s7 fe has the very basic spen which doesn't have air action nor pressure sensitivity and the latency is 43m/s bs 2.8m/s air action and pressure sensitivity found on the tab s8+, however u can buy an spen pro if you want the same level spen latency and air action which is an aditional 100 dollar cost as the spen has to be cared around seperate the magnets on the spen pro aren't as strong as the tab spen magnets are and considering you spending that money may as well buy the tab s8+ as your almost reaching that cost.
@@Val17282 so the s7 and s7+ does the fe has a very basic spen thats limited to writing and drawing it doesn't have additional features doesn't give the pencil and paper feel
@@marcosvmatana yes the spen pro gives all the spen functionality the latest s22 ultras spen has and has the same 2.8 ㎧ latency, to get s22 ultra level spen functionality requires one ui 3.1 or later with devices that ofc has spen support which means that 2019 flagship devices with spen support gains some of the functionality of spen which was missing on 2019 flagship spen devices so yes it will work on the tab s7 fe because that runs above one ui 3.1 but you won't get the 2.8㎧ latency and because it's 60hz you won't get the same experience but functionality wise your getting s22 ultra level spen and it also uses AI tech like the s22 ultra.
@@Shan_Shah I intend to get an S7 Fe here in Brazil for S$450.00 the S8+ hasn't arrived and S8 or S7 are over $700. I can get a S22 Ultra Spen or the S8 Pro for $50.00, which one would be better? Thanks for the clarification, I know that both will work although not at their maximum latency capacity.
