As somebody who doesn't attack enemies unless threatened on DMZ, I appreciate this style of game play a ton. Even though I'm fully aware its a part of the game, still nice to see decent people!
I second this except when I’m with one of my newer friends. He’s just started out and is still learning all of the mechanics of the game (not a newb gamer, just unfamiliar with cod) so I’m constantly sizing up dmz teams. If it’s a team bigger than my own I usually dead silence then ambush said team and wipe all but the last guy. If they wanna team up then I accept their plea request, otherwise I just clear them out. If it’s a two man or solo I usually get on comms and ask if they wanna team up or otherwise just leave them alone.
Wish I could say that same. I feel players that kill other players in DMZ without that mission to do are of the lowest order. The number of times I have been killed by another player that I let live I can’t count.
I think the fact that any given encounter with players can turn out either immediately friendly or immediately hostile or anything in between is what makes DMZ so fun and interesting, and hey, who doesnt love getting in a good gun fight?
When my squad downs players, we call it the "knock and talk". You knock, then you go up and if they have mics we squad up. Only once out a hundred times has someone turned on us after saying they wanted to squad up. It's what makes this mode so great.
Man where are guys like you when I'm playing? I usually run solo and every single time I run into a team they don't even hesitate to smash me on sight. Had a team yesterday chase me across half the map. Once I lost them I was mad because they ruined my whole mission so I started hunting them. Downed 1 with a bomb drone at the exfil downed the other while trying to res. But the other one I think was hacking he ran straight up the hill towards me while I was laying fire on him the whole way with my raal. I was getting hit markers but also the blue spawn protection sign. Ever heard of that? He destroyed me after I landed half a mag worth of shots on him.
I hope you continue uploading your 15-20 minute videos. I don't have to time to watch streams but you do a great job editing and I love watching fellow solos in the dmz. It's such a challenge at times but nice to go at your own pace. Take care and thanks for another great upload!
ON1C just want to say we need more players like you in DMZ there are soooooo many toxic, exfil camping, degenerative players in DMZ and they r spoiling it for decent player's keep up the good content stay frosty
Downed one felt guilty, picked him up. His original teammates tried to kill us. Took them out . Went to police academy, I had the key. Raided it got the loot hit the exfil. Love dmz for the action movie feel and never knowing what's gonna happen.
There's no reason the game should not have a purely PVE mode. I can't see a downside to giving players the option to play the game in the fashion they enjoy. Like you said that YOU would find it repetitive to not have PVP, but there are folks who would find that game style more fun. I'm one of them. I'm 51 years old; I don't want to get stuck having some goober screaming "get rekt, N-word" at me. COD PVP is often SUPER toxic, and a lot of folks would prefer not to encounter that while still enjoying the PVE aspect of the game.
Got hit by team at exfil while everyone was yelling friendly, friendly. Not sure who shot first but I hesitated and was killed. Agree it is part of the game and to me more realistic. I would let live when possible but that's just me. Be careful who you trust.
I've been thinking alot about DMZ. Its actually really fun. I think things could be better. For example give us small storage for vests like a limited amount like 3 or 5. Let us store away some vests so when we are going into the game to gear up for tough missions we don't have to gamble literally everything we have. Also let solos plea
Awesome video from the one-man-army ON1C 👌 Personally, as a solo player myself I find the chance of PVP enncounters in DMZ adds to the tension, and I think that tension is why I love the mode so much. So for me, I think its got just enough PVP mixed in, though I've found squads seem to instantly join up more often now and as a solo against a 6-person squad... its rough! Perhaps if the dev's removed the join feature? Not sure....
Ya dmz NEEDS pvp. There needs to be a healthy mix. As you said, without pvp there would be no tension. Dmz would become stale. As for the join feature, it is still in the game! You can 100% still form a 6 man squad
@@ON1C oh yes, sorry I meant I wonder if removing the Join Squad function, or limiting the squad size to 3 would be a good improvement. 🤔 Many player now realised how OP it can be to join up as soon as possible with other squads, and it just seems way too commonplace now.
@@slinkywizard Oh I’m sorry, I read that wrong haha. Ya I actually am with you on that. Removing the assimilation feature would make things more interesting
i don't despise dmz pvp when you run into someone and bullet starts flying. I despise players who only play DMZ to kill other players and camp on dead player bodies so you can't revive them. Or camp on towers for 25 minutes with snipers, Like get a life, go get a job. Killing for missions is ok.
Absolute PvP monster, I agree though it 100% needs to have PvP in the game if not it would die. Its what makes the game mode more risky and the unknown when you are in the game, not knowing if someone is around to get into a fight etc.
The problem is some players only want PvP. I had 4 squads including an exfil camper blocking my exit. I was on mic saying friendly and lets team to exfil as chopper is there and none excepted invite they all wanted a fight. In the end it took 20 mins to get to another exfil and after a bot fight I left
"I don't know you anymore. On1c, you're breaking my heart. I'll keep watching you, but you are going down a path I can't follow....until now you have become the very thing you swore to destroy." My thoughts when you killed the guy pleading for help.... 😂 You've choose the dark side.. 😆
Only problem I have is when I’m solo get caught by large team. I have taken a 5 man down before, but they acted like noobs. Experienced players in a six man actively hunting other players is ruining DMZ.
I'm going to make sure that I just talk all the time. I'm not going to lie, every time I see a player and I kill them, if I need to, I feel terrible. I've just been burned so many times now, that it's reflexive to just kill them if I can. And I hate that.
Yooo I know Zee and when I first heard his voice in the game I was like hold up he sounds familiar. You should try contacting Westie and Stoedeh sometime for a video collab, that would be sick!
I don’t hunt players all the time. This video was an exception. I usually only fight if I have been shot at, have a pvp mission, or am trying to do a fast regain. My whole channel was actually dedicated to BR b4 i started playing DMZ. I also recently uploaded 2 Ashika BR videos on my channel.
@@ON1C oh nice I’ll go check them out. Loved the video where you played with the dudes that were watching your stream lol. Good streamers are hard to find man. Keep up the good work!
They really gotta do something abt the matchmaking i had one really good run was fully geared up even had a nice custom hemlock of someone and then next match both my teammates were noobs w the first missions still not completed and one dies on a roof because of a sniper and the other follows up there to get sniped aswell so on my own i leave the area they leave the game and now im a solo... Which i dont mind. But also matchmaking missions would b nice too
As someone very vocal about the matter, DMZ PvP is fine but the problem is when you chase a solo from the ends of Al Mazra and back as a squad... why though?
Some players only want PvP. I had 4 squads including an exfil camping sniper blocking my exit for 20 minutes. I was on mic saying friendly and lets team to exfil as chopper is there and none excepted invite they all wanted a fight. In the end I had to go to another exfil and after a long bot fight with no plates I left.
What I would like to be able to do is have the ability to join the same game match that killed me in a previous match and have the ability to do a hunt squad on their ass. I am that kind of player
@@ON1C Apparently you aren’t happy playing where everyone else is also playing PVP - probably get murdered out of the box.. So you and a bunch of other losers at Warzone go ruin DMZ
