Nice cover, and also I had a question I was thinking of getting a new bass as well and I noticed you had a thunderbird. Is it worth it? I might get a rickenbacker but it's going to take a while to save up!
Andrew Zataray Thanks. And I think the tone of the Thunderbird is quite similar to a Rickenbacker. The neck is quite wide so I find it a little uncomfortable to play, but overall it's a great bass
I use Flatwound strings on all my basses. These were a cheap unbranded set but they had a nice tone. You can get this sound using most Flatwounds, except D'Addario Chromes, they're too bright in my opinion.

Thank god haha, I'm getting sick of them blocking my stuff, it's not like I'm making any profit from it. Cheers anyway, glad you enjoyed it. And I really like it, it is pretty big but I'm quite tall so it doesn't feel too uncomfortable. I have noticed that it isn't very comfortable for fingerstyle playing though but I mainly use a pick anyway.
Rob Gray I play with a pick and I'm 6ft 1", it's just there's no contour in the wood for a forearm to rest, makes it tricky. And they block stuff because of copyright, like you said you don't make profit, so it's very childish on their part.
