There's boy that goes to my school. He doesn't tell a lot of people about his family or his past. But he openly talks to me about it. He told me that his grandpa had recently passed away during quarantine. He said this was his favorite song, so I think of him every time I hear this song now.

She put me in the car, and while driving me to Dr. Fontanier, our good family Dr., she put this song on the radio, and she was telling me don’t worry, and she was singing along with it, on the way there. Oh how I love this song I used to play it with a senior that I was caring for and as we drove through the countryside looking at all the farms in the valleys and the gardens with the sunroof open over our heads this song playing on the stereo in the car it brought the biggest smile to the seniors face and I always think of my dear friend dolly when I hear this song. I thank the Lord for being able to give her many happy days until she went home to heaven. So, personal story time. My grandpa was the one to show me this song. He’s been dead for about 5 years due to liver cancer. I used to be very angry as a child. I was hurt and angry at the world, and honestly I still am at times (though it’s been taken over by numbness and shit, I ain’t doing too good right now) but my grandpa loved me, and we were always close. So I guess that’s why this song means a lot to me. I really miss him. I never said goodbye and I still haven’t even been able to visit his grave. But, whenever I listen to this song I am reminded of a simpler time that I often forget about these days. The summers at my grandparents farm, where I was truly happy for the most part. I miss it. I hope I can feel that peace someday soon. I could use it.
