I am really having a difficult time dealing with President Biden being forced out, the hypocrisy of the Democratic bigwigs who didn't support him but are now coming out with gushing, flowery statement about Joe and thanking him for "putting the country first" as though they didn't force him out. Had they rallied around him I have no doubt that the media pile on would have ended within a week. I'll vote blue, but I feel truly despondent over the stupidity and unfairness of this - and the betrayal. Now there is such pressure to just rally around Harris as though none of this happened and we're all so "united." I don't feel united.
Yesterday the dnc texted me praising Biden and wanting a donation. I tried to text them back, but it wouldn't send. So today I'm emailing dnc headquarters to tell them I don't appreciate them kicking Biden to the curb like he's a bag of trash to be disposed of, and no, I won't reward them for that.

I do feel betrayed by my own party. I voted for Biden in the primary and my own party pushed him out. They told me my vote didn't matter. I am livid. I like Harris but I know the country I live in. Would America vote in a black woman? The backlash of Obama was trump. I am just sick. I am booking my ticket to Mexico.😢
