Guess what, a few years back he was democrat and then changed for republican already with the idea to eventually run. As for the wall and illegals, nothing against that, except that illegals do more for the economy than most people think (no minimum wage, or other work laws apply) and this wall would cost so much (think of hundred of billions, not just for the materials, but also manhours, land, expertise, development,...), a lot of years (perhaps even more than a decade and would only really stop illegal immigrants for so long. Human traffickers always eventually find other ways and there are so many illegals that come by other ways than the mexican border. The jobs brought back from china? The only way is either to have no minimum wage and have jobs that literally pay 1-2 dollars a day, or tax all imported products, but this would need to be so high that it is cheaper to produce it in the US. But then other countries can start upping the taxes for products produced in the US too. A large problem might be that this extra taxes would just result in an increase of the sale price, which means it will be americans that pay for it. Bringing this kind of jobs back is far from easy and it's very doubtfull trump will be able to pull this off. The price for products produced in the US will be way higher either way for the ordinary US citizen. But hey, I guess you can afford that now that trump wants to cut in the taxes. Wait a second, cut in taxes and at the same time heavily invest in infrastructure and army? I guess this means other things will need to be saved upon, probably meaning reducing size of other systems (firing people somewhere else or hurt the people on another front, money doesn't magically appears). And I truly need to laugh for the illegal muslims thing, most immigrants are christian smart ass, almost all coming through the mexican border definitely are. I don't doubt you believe in what you say or what trump is saying. But believing doesn't make it real. That the republicans took over everything has multiple factors: 1. Obama, a democrat, couldn't follow up on around the half of his made promises and many people believe that he did a terrible job. The fact that he came to power during the largest financial crisis in decades (perhaps even since the 30') and that many of his promises couldn't be properly executed thanks to the vote of the people to get the republican majority in the middle of his term seems to slip peoples minds. during his term the effects of the crisis have almost been eliminated, the deployement of US troops in the middle east came to an end, just like most people wanted. He had to clean up the mess of his predecessor almost during both of his terms while he had a hostile congress for quite some time. 2. People are sick of the establishment. Trump seems to be the opposite of the establishment. Which on some areas he certainly is, others he isn't. He perfectly played into this unhappiness with this refusal to be politically correct and some of his stances. The funny thing is this. If hillary or any other politician tried to be not political correct in the past, they would have been shot down, if they tried to stop being political now, they would have been condemned phony and if they stayed with political correctness they are also condemned for it :p. 3. it has often happened that after a 2 term seating president, the opposing party has a larger chance to win, because most of the time people who aren't happy with how things are in their life somehow blame the government, even though at that time the (executive) government couldn't really do anything about that. The supreme court was lost because of the stalling from the republicans. Obama was in his right to appoint a new judge, but it was slowed down enough by republicans so that the next government could. I doubt many people really thought of it when voting. Maybe it will be better the next few years if you reverse the policies of the previous government. It would be good to cut in some policies, but certainly not all. The question is will this remain so. Many people think short term rather than long term. If you cut in environment now, you have extra money to spend the next few years, but what when the consequences catch up in the years after that and you need to pay several times that amount to just slow it down or stop it, let alone reverse it, it will be something else entirely. Democrats a dying breed? perhaps you didn't notice, but Hillary won the popular vote and she was one of, if not the, most despiced democrat candidate in several decades, even many in her own party despiced her. The younger generation is way more democratic. The majority of people under 44 voted for hillary, remember a very despiced person even with them or especially with them seeing sanders had probably the largest young following and they felt betrayed by the way the democratic party handled things in favor of hillary.

There hasn't been a PElect until Trump that fits exactly what the founders created them for and spelled out that they vote against him in favor of a more desirable president. Many are not legally bound to vote Trump and came out saying they won't now. The Republican electors insist on picking a Republican and the democratic electors seem to agree as long as it's not Trump. So Monday they vote and if enough vote the same other person, Trump lost the Electoral College and presidency. Why you didn't just research unbiased info on the Electoral College, read the Constitution and Hamilton Papers, checked unbiased news on "Hamilton Electors" instead of asking strangers who could be trolls is beyond me. As a long time viewer I admit that I have noticed that on SNL, Democrats have always been portrayed as cool, intelligent, and good. While Republicans have been portrayed as unintelligent and misleading the Country. The agenda is a blatant attempt to make one side look unappealing. I wish SNL's writers took a risk with their show. Like maybe do a skit about the RU-vid video that Hillary and Obama claimed caused the Benghazi attack, or a skit about the Clinton foundation quid-pro-quo deals. i.e. UraniumOne deal with Russia. If the SNL cast reads this, as a viewer I just want the program to be as funny as possible why reduce your material to appease politicians of all people, Just do funny:) cheers

Name Noname​ I will agree with the notion of conservstive bias on SNL there's no doubt about it but they also have hard been on democrats as well...specially Bill Clinton & Jimmy Carter, they also took jabs at Dukakis, Mondale and Kerry as well, they had a sketch with Phil Hartman about Reagan being a super political opperative in private while looking like an out of touch in public to fool his adversaries. They also have poke fun at Hillary, Wasseerman, Wiener, and Al Gore for being a stiff, the fact of the matter is that Some GOP politicians have said or taken extreme positions that are easy to poke fun at for being so outlandish.

True historical fact: No US president has ripped pictures of themself out of Magazines, circled their hands in gold sharpie, written "See, not so short!", and mailed them to a reporter a few times a year for 25 years, because they were called a “short-fingered vulgarian” in Spy magazine. Also no US president has gotten return to sender mail with notes saying "Actually, quite short.”
