I don’t know how anyone (who is a believer) could be offended about the Bible getting promoted!! This makes me so happy! I pray many will desire to purchase and read it for themselves. I pray many who have one in their home will get back into the word and savor it. It’s the only book that never gets old, that the Holy Spirit can reveal something new each time!
I didn't get my own Bible until my mid twenties and it took time but I got saved because of reading the word of God. I know now that it was the Holy Spirit who had been revealing the scriptures to me and my God's goodness towards repentance. ❤ The Bible is living and the word will remain forever! In a time when people are destroying Bibles I'm glad it is being encouraged. My first Bible was also a KJV and I do enjoy other versions but always go back to that one since that was my first and favorite translation. I even dream of scripture and it's KJV! He told me to start with the gospel of John and then go to the first gospel account which is Matthew's account and from there read the rest of the N.T. I am glad I did because I got to read the different accounts of the life of Jesus while he was on earth before he ascended back to his Father in heaven.

As someone who fell into this trick around 2020, if I may: IT'S THEATRE. NONE of those people will save you, they don't care about you. They don't even like you. Maybe because he’s a con man who is facing real charges and is using his supporters money to pay off his legal bills, as well as taking money from his campaigns to pay off. Oh and maybe because he threatened a judge’s daughter???

Matthew 24:24 says "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." When I read that, I look at where it says "if it were possible ". So I conclude that it will not be possible. But "if it were" then even the very elect will be deceived. It's using the elect as an example to stress how incredibly challenging things will be. But I don't believe that they will be deceived because of the discernment of the Holy Spirit and His guidance.

At first I had a knee jerk reaction to President Trump selling Bibles. Afterwards I thought about it and I basically came to the same conclusion as you. I didn’t even realize that it was an endorsement. So easy to misjudge. Thank you for speaking out.
